The 2-3-5 reps are a great way to build strength and endurance. Can't wait to try this out in my next session.

How much rest between the rep series of 2,3 and then 5 in the three exercise compound ... or is it no rest?

Hello, silly question I guess, but anyway - how many of one series do you repeat? as this doesn't look like it will take long to complete the 6 rounds (I mean doesn't look like will take 30min or so). Do you repeat the 6? if so how many times? As you say that you take through the first rounds, but you do the full 6 rounds, right?

Any recommendations on throwing pullups into this? Just do them after?

Who should be doing these and when should they do them? Are they considered a strength workout or a conditioning workout? Why would you do this instead of something like Simple / Sinister?

    • @HardstyleKettlebellPro

Who should be doing these: Anyone with the skills. When should they do them: Depends on your goal. Are they considered a strength workout or a conditioning workout? Both. Why would you do this instead of something like Simple / Sinister? Again, depends on your goal. It can add Variety and Skill Practice

@@HardstyleKettlebellPro I tried the complex. I was impressed that when I finished I felt activated rather than tired. I probably went a little light given I'm not used to double swings. If you don't mind, I have a question about progression. I know the obvious thing to do is increase the weight every few weeks, but, given that COVID can make acquiring kettlebells difficult, is there another way to progress you can suggest?

@@cioran1754 Dan's Armour complex is slightly different. He uses x2 cleans, x1 press, x 3 squat. Its a nice set up because the press will be the limiting factor and he uses just 1 rep. He also works it for EMOM like swings in S&S. It works out around the same time as 10 swings as well. You can first progress with increasing sets from 10 out to about 20. You can then progress further by cutting the time. Of course you can progress by bumping up reps too. That should keep you going a good while before having to add more weight.
