Can I just assure everyone that this will be the last ad I put up on my channel. I am contractually obliged to post, but there will be no more on this channel.
You really don’t need to stop ads completely! I think people just had an issue with Temu. Every successful channel does sponsorships! There’s no reason you can’t
@@TraceUKI’m losing followers and receiving a tonne of nasty messages again though. I know it’s a minority, but this isn’t what I signed up for and I can’t handle it. I really can’t. I don’t want to have to give it up and so I’ll give up the money instead. I feel broken.
ignore the nasty messages, it’s your living. It’s not about numbers of followers it’s about your number of views, your number of followers nearly 26k if a few fall by the way, they will be replaced. No. No don’t give up don’t let the keyboard warriors win, unfortunately life is not always a bed of roses, as you know only too well weeds penetrate from time to time, you just have to hoe them out and if needs be block them.
I don’t mind the adds Do what you need to do and make some money, you deserve it ❤ Ignore the nasty people who want something for nothing. I’d like to see them put in all this work for nothing. Well, actually I wouldn’t want to see them, no time for nasty lazy people. You stay being the lovely you 😊 From a very nearly ‘old age pensioner’ 😂😂😂
Don't let these people get to you. They aren't worth worrying about. We all need to make a living . Thanks for your videos, as a new Lottie grower this year is been lovely watching your journey. Chin up girl 🙂
Your garden is beautiful ❤️ i managed to let my strawberry plants roast too... Need to buy new ones next year. Thanks for the tour of the show garden, really makes me wish i lived in England
Worms in your compost are EXCELLENT as they are vital and their poo is called castings and it is the best thing for your plants. Worms break down the soil and turn it into a very rich and good thing for the plants.
My brother-in-law was showing me what he’s growing yesterday and bless his heart, he’s been growing four tomato plants in a small bed with no cages or stakes. Anyway, that trick you’ve showed with your strawberries, he’s achieved by accident, as some of his tomato vines have been on the ground and developed roots. To be fair to him, I’ve never tried that myself, but I congratulated him for it anyway because it is a cool way of propagating your plants. He did not want extra tomato plants though and has decided to go get some cages to support them. No more vines on the soil!
Just amazing and very inspirational as usual. I started my tiny garden after I saw your channel and my tiny patio looks like a small paradise thanks to your guidance. I have two questions, the first one can you please tell me what is the compost you are using in the planters, i.e what brand is it? And, the second question is that I tried to grow strawberry from seeds numerous times but I failed every time. Can you please give some advice and guidance. Thank you in advance🌹
Thank you for taking us with you and your husband on the Tour of Hampton Palace looked lovely, the displays and roses where nice, I myself like yellow roses, I have an Sydney Olympic Rose from 2000 which is a beautiful yellow rose. Your herb garden is doing really well the strawberries are fantastic, hope you get those new strawberry plants taking on.😊 Thanks again😀🇦🇺
Hi Emma so nice to see your herb planter doing so well it was nice to see your hubby out with you it looked as if he enjoyed it to thank you for your vides I look forward to watching them
Thank you! Yes, he enjoyed it almost more than me I think! 😂 he was asking what everything was and taking loads of photos! (He’s not really a garden person, but I think I’ve changed his mind). So glad you enjoy the vids x
Thanks for the tour , I’ve watched the TV version which is lovely to watch , but I liked your honest one I’m unlikely to ever go as it’s a bit far from Cornwall and if you were exhausted I think I’d collapse at 75 , but I like the fact you highlighted the less than glamorous side like the hustling and the high prices , that’s something I hadn’t ever considered. Enjoy those lovely strawberries.❤️
Hope I wasn't too negative! The tickets were expensive (£37 each) so I wanted to give an honest review. But it was lovely and I got so much inspiration x
Hello Emma, Thank you for taking us to the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show. I was nice to see Hannah's booth set up. Jessie Plot 37 took us to her plot also. I have to think you must know her also. So nice to see the sights of a place I am not likely to get to. Another fun video Cya next time
For strawberries on allotment I grew them on a bed, covered in the weed membrane, made holes in the membrane to plant the strawberries in, Membrane stops the soil from drying out , plus keeps the fruit clean 😊
I have just received my ‘Whack it in’ T shirt down here in NZ. Love it and it will be great for summer days in the garden - might add an iron on flower transfer! Love your channel Emma and am in awe of how well your are doing with your gardening - have watched you from the start. Your enthusiasm and love for growing shines through. 🌻
As usual Emma lovely blog, and we get to see Mr Emma at long last. Mr Emma and the kids, Christmas suggestion please get Emma a cordless strimmer so she can get rid of the rusty shears and have a rest 😊😊😊
Your version of meatballs and mash looks better than the picture. Lol. I dont mid your ads if it helps you out. We all have our own minds and if we dont want to shop at the companies you advertise then we dont need to. No need for any negative comments. Carry on Emma. We love your videos and your energy. Thank you 🙂
Thank you, I appreciate that. Summer is just the month everyone wants to work with me (it’s a gardening channel so makes sense), but this will be it I think. Appreciate the support x
Emma - I really enjoyed your video, thanks. Please don't worry about the Ad haters - I used to have a RUclips channel and got exactly the same response whenever we advertised anything. At the end of the day you have posted a video of 20 mins of which the Ad comprised about 2 minutes. If viewers don't want to watch it they can easily skip by it. Being approached by brands such as Hello Fresh is testament to the success of your channel so you don't need to justify yourself or worry about a minority of people who have nothing better to do than complain. Hope you have a lovely weekend x
Love what you’ve done with the herb planter, it’s strange that our growing is so different I’m near Sheffield my strawberries have finished, my leeks are big, my tomatoes are going red, I think I thought you’d be ahead as it’s warmer in London. Loved the video of Hampton park, my sister went and sent me all the allotment photos, maybe you’ll have yours there one year. Enjoy your weekend x
These are new strawberry plants and they flowered late so I guess the strawberries came in a little later too? Hampton court was wonderful. I’m not sure I could create my own garden, it looks so daunting! Hannah’s one looked amazing though, she did a great job and it was also shown on gardeners world! X
That is a whacking big entry fee - only to face such huge line-ups! Surely they could control the traffic flow better by staggering ticket entry dates and times. And as for the food and drink prices - same happens here in Australia and I ABSOLUTELY REFUSE to enable the rip off!! I always pack really nice food and drinks for such outings - healthier, delicious and cheaper. Loved seeing the gardens - *THANK-YOU EMMA!!*
Enjoyed the Hampton Court Palace visit. Would love to go one day.. The hard sellers are a shame. As for Hello Fresh came away from them a long time ago. Why buy when you grow your own! Keep your chin up Emma. You cant keep everyone happy but I for one am NOT leaving.
I do Hello Fresh and find it’s been great with helping me cook healthy meals for the family - I have ADHD and have never successfully been able to meal plan and prep for the week without messing up and creating waste. At first I found it a nightmare but it’s really stopped me putting fishfingers and potato smilies in front of the kids every night. I’m growing my own stuff and the garden is packed but the 1 cucumber and 15 strawberries I’ve managed to grow so far do not a meal make 😂
Haha! I’m exactly the same. Fish fingers and smiley faces 😂 I’ve grown about a million broad beans this year and that definitely doesn’t make a meal on its own, trust me! x
Isn’t it the point that we’re growing it ourself? A friend at work put me onto hello fresh but I was like… I’ve got spuds, purple sprouting and kale to harvest and I produce my own lamb, do I need that in my life…. No x Love what your doing though, no judgement here xxxx
The fact that the tickets were so expensive u wouldn't think after paying that u either had to queue for an hour to get into see or go with out seeing the show gardens. Thats just money making. Like why would they sell so many tickets at once knowing that people wouldn't get into see everything.
Emma, how can a plot owner who grows their own vegetables actually pay someone to send them God only knows what vegetables and meat to cook and consume? I mean no disrespect. If that's your thing then OK, to each his own. Shouldn't people be encourage to grow their own food organically?
Hello Fresh are offering you 60% off your first box and 25% off the next 8 when you use my code: EAD60 or follow this link: bit.ly/EAD60
Emma, I peg my strawberry runners in the pots using hair pins!
You do make me smile, every plant is a he

Yeah! Hannah’s allotment was amazingly well thought through and packed with produce and flowers ..... what you can achieve in a very small space!
It was amazing! And yes, her space was tiny, but she managed to fit in a bench, an archway, shelving and so many plants! x

You try growing enough food so that you don't need to source any from elsewhere and let us know how it goes. Its not as easy as you might think.
