Cast in place is certainly the way to go if done properly. Unfortunately nothing is so simple that it can’t be screwed up. I have seen the hollow block construction in my Filipino towns and the workmanship is marginal at best. In watching your video it seems to me you’re a little short on your use of . rebar. That’s were the strength is.
