It was TOTALLY different for sure. So glad I got to be a part of that. I saw many Clubs develop over the yrs. 😂in several states. The scene was so different!!! The late 60’s & 70’s was awesome!!!! I was a young teenager on the streets & was never afraid & was taken care of. My plane ticket was bought by the Club to get me back home town. Later I got into trouble with my mother & she wouldn’t give me my ticket & threw all my shit out in snow. I had my 3 mo old son with me. And they got me the f. ,,,,out of there. And was encouraged to follow my life dream. I did. Forever grateful ‼️‼️‼️‼️❤️☠️❤️💀🎶🇺🇸😉
I've lived in different states, and the life is different depending on where you are. When I moved to Southern California the life felt like an everyday thing. Our club is a dominant there, so there's hundreds of members. It was slow in GA and Northern California.
I’m in an OMC. And I can tell you, it’s expensive. You have to WORK to afford this lifestyle. Bike note Mortgage Car notes Home Utilities Bike maintenance Car maintenance Home maintenance School clothes for kids Grocery And club dues. And that’s not including the mandatory rides and everything that comes with that. 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿💯💯💯🎯🎯🎯
When I started in 1973 I collected Welfare, Unemploymet, Compensation, and worked for cash . NO COMPUTERS TO CROSS CHECK YOU, WORKED OUT TO 6 GRAND A MONTH FOR 3 YEARS PLUS THE OLD LADY WORKED. HAD THE NICEST BIKE, TIMES WERE GOOD😂😂😂😂😂
you ever seen sons of anarchy well its nothing like that lol . and im with you i would have loved to been around in late 50s and 60s i could see my self as a greaser biker i would have loved it but didn t happen i was always told when i was younger that being a outlaw 1% isn t about being a criminal its about living by your way following your own rules or your club rules not by the states rules and being totally free and about how u ride and like i was always told and riding it like you stole it
I retired at age 48 and joined a 1%MC one of the big 4 MCs. You must ride all the time( rain or shine ) I was lucky I had a good pension because it was very expensive. The only plans you ever made was for the club . The LEO was a constant problem. Always screwing with you.i was a member for 10 yrs and 9 months. I’ve been out for a little over 5 yrs now and I miss it daily. I’d go back to it anytime. It’s a great life but only if it in your heart and soul. If not you want make it past probation . You must be ready to ride at a moments notice. It’s the club and brotherhood first and foremost. I still live brotherhood first. It’s and unforgiven lifestyle for those who live it. There is only two true ways out death and prison. I spent 4 years going to trial and was sentenced to 5 yrs. And for the club I’d do it again ML&R
The big thing now is fully dressed baggers and going from coast to coast as much as possible. Nothing about that even sounds affordable. 😂 and with that being the big thing now, add in the club dues, mandatory rides and a bazillion annuals, you can’t not have a well paying job and do all of that. So it makes sense that it’s “boring” as you put it. Can’t be out all night every night and work a real job like that.
Fortunately for me I rode in an old school era where parties & cool was plentiful. These days in Australia the government & pigs have crushed that . WTF ?
Everyday guys , your not profiting off the club or with the club behind you , your lucky if your involved in a few good events some club house parties but get ready to pay 100$ minimum a month for dues and BS READY TO GO ON MANDATORY RUNS WHERE YOU MAY RIDE 12 hours sleep a few hours and head home because you got work Monday with 0 partying or pussy 😂 and if you don’t pay a fine ! Bikes down more then 30 days your paying fines and gotta pay to repair bike most 1%ers have two bike which means two bikes to insure register and maintained and let’s not forget there are so many guys in your own club maybe chapter that will fuck you for a rank all that with possibilities you might be ran off the road run into rival clubs and end up severely injured or injuring someone and now facing football numbers yea there’s partys but even that is a shit show because everyone’s a tough guy and wanna be 1%er and you get jackasss doing jackass stuff and STUPID PROBLEMS HAPPEN , it’s just not the same !!! I WISH I WAS WITH THE 1% club I was in the 60s 70s 80s 90s even with the violence that happen with the big four it WAS ACTUALLY EXCITING BECAUSE YOU WERE ABLE TO MAKE A LITTLE MONEY ON THE SIDE FROM SIDE HUSTLES BECAUSE LE DIDNT HAVE TONS AND TONS OF RESOURCES AND SMALL TOWN POLICE DIDNT BOTHER BECAUSE NOT EVERYONE WAS A RAT TO SAVE A bs 2-4 or 3-6 shit half these guys break look at 1-3s 😂
This might be a really dumb question, but is it almost guaranteed that you will do jail time as a 1% member? Or are there 1% members that are completely clean? Again, I am no where near cut out for this life. I find it very interesting.
I don't think that's what Hollywood is saying at all, just cause they're not on the road selling drugs and pimping out women & working normal jobs doesn't mean a 1%er is no longer a 1%er I wouldn't get it twisted! Just saying RICO and cameras are a big thing now, but I promise you a 1%er life is still an everyday job and they'll still take care of business
No they’re still 1%ers. They’ll still have your back when 99% of other people wouldn’t. They’ll give you their all , at least 99% of them and leave the 1% on their chest. And they’re still willing to die for what they believe in. 1%er don’t mean criminal and it never has. Sure we’re all a bunch of knuckleheads that don’t take shit from anyone but we listen to each other. And yes we get guys in these clubs that think being a 1%er means you’re a gangster but they end up getting arrested , bringing heat on the club and they get Kicked Out bad and sent down the road. 1% was a derogatory term used against us , that we took and ran with. Kinda like how black people use the N word. But in the beginning it was a club of clubs. The elite. 1% was something the different, elite clubs had in common. It’s still kinda like that today if you think about it. We’re not all buddies but we all have that in common. And hopefully one day we can recognize that and have some sort of mutual bond and common ground to stand on. If we could make 1% like a union or a commission I think we would all benefit greatly. And I also think it would scare the government so bad that they nuke us. Lol. So idk , one can dream can’t one….
Like You mentioned in the last show Hollywood, Things are way different these days compared to even the 80s - 90s, Man they were good times and sadly We'll never see the likes of those days every again, Man life was Class back then, It's a freaking Rat Race these days! 👍🤘😎🏴
Former cop here. I can tell you this is a real thing and police departments have a hard on for bikers. I left the police because of how corrupt an institution it is. Ide rather hang out with 1%ers
Nah. Two sides of the same coin. As a 1%er you choose to take a side, and the police are on the opposite side of the same coin. I'm a retired copper also. I remember when anyone who volunteered to play cops and robbers knew what time it was. No 1%er is going to automatically give respect to cops, but they feel they are entitled to the same - and will be the first to cry about "give respect to get respect" while not respecting fuck all. If you get caught doing dirt, you take your L and f**k off without complaining. It seems nowadays people want to play the game but also want to cry when they get hit with the police version of street tax.

Yep. lmao. The good times, we put enough away to put down payment on a 400-acre farm.
Exactly I have 2 rental property's and an acreage paid for 2 panheads an fxr so it's tough times now😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

It’s not even close to what the media portrays or what sons of anarchy shows us on tv.
People power and the power of the people working growing and building together

"Boring" is cheaper and affordable
I have a question what club came up with club name forever forever club name ?
I want to be in a SENIOR CITIZEN (over 65) "outlaw" motorcycle club. I may have to form one. None are around.
Wrinkly gang-bangs and stuff like that.
Fortunately for me I rode in an old school era where parties & cool was plentiful. These days in Australia the government & pigs have crushed that . WTF ?

I’ll tell you. It’s boring and you actually go looking for issues so you can have war stores. The most problems you have is all internal.

No
@@insanethrottlebikernews Thanks man
If you are a TRUE OUTLAW 1%er, your club will serve you up to the LAW!
Ouch
Depends on the club or crowd ur around man
Plea bargains will always send a so-called brother to jail.
Yea in for a rude awakening
Probably pretty damn shallow and shitty would be my guess.
So you’re saying 1 percenter’s are not one percent anymore?

But yes they’ll still smack you in the mouth if you say they’re not 1%ers anymore Lol
Don't have to be a criminal to be a 1% smh
WOODS!!!

Motorcycle Club profiling by LE should be banned by legislation.
Former cop here. I can tell you this is a real thing and police departments have a hard on for bikers. I left the police because of how corrupt an institution it is. Ide rather hang out with 1%ers
Cops have nothing better to do. Your tax dollars at work for the betterment of who?
Nah. Two sides of the same coin. As a 1%er you choose to take a side, and the police are on the opposite side of the same coin.
