I remember me and one bro wrecking half the NYC HX scene at the King's Club on LI for Candiria's set Strong Island proved 15+ years ago no one is impressed by bad TKD LARPing in the pit, brown 2 stripes if you need reference. Guess it's kinda late but go to a death metal/Slayer show & learn how to circle pit, kiddos. Good drumming tho 👍
Can somebody explain the crowd to me? It doesn't make much sense. I have been to about 50-100 metal shows and it was always crowded right up front. Moshing and just having a good time. Helping each other up when they fall... Mosh pits were up close, like a community. Why is everybody just standing by the sides? And what is up with some attendees doing bad capoeira? The music is so fuckin good... what the hell are you doing?

@@justinjensen6818 it’s to save time not having to swap out the entire kit. The reason for different cymbals, snare, and bass drum pedals (called “breakables”) is 1) cymbals are ridiculously expensive and will break if you play them wrong (like that skinny dude yesterday) and 2) snare drums are a very personal sound, and bass drum pedals are a very personal feel/preference.

Church hall that was rented out by the bassists mother so the band could play. I only say this because I have been to show that had the same feel.
