Hi guys, here I showed up how to fix an operating system wasn't found, try disconnecting any drives that don't contain an operating system. There are several reasons that could cause this to happen. The problem could any, the most common cause is, when a system partition is in inactive mode. Actually, this is not any Bootloader related issue. However, don’t panic, this video will help you to activate a system partition.
And also, this video will help you to repair BCD I mean boot configuration data of an installed operating system. And one more thing, here I would like to inform you that, this video is for legacy or BIOS-based computers. Also, this video will help you to Add boot files to a PC after applying a new Windows image, repair the system partition and set up or repair the boot menu on a dual-boot PC. And one more very important thing, listen very carefully. if you are encountered with an error such as Error Code “0xc0000225” and “Access is denied” issue while fixing boot configuration data for Windows 10 Build 1709 and Windows 10 Build 1803 then the second method on this video will help you to solve this huge problem.

Thank you!!!!!!! Option 3 worked for me. Only thing that was different for me was my system was not on a partition with "MB" file size. I have a 128gb ssd that was labeled C: already. So I did not change the partition letter to Y and followed the last commands you explained but used the c: drive to point asign boot files to C: again and she booted up!!!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!

great job! the last step helped me recover a disk that had become scrambled somehow. Had to rename the drives and rebuild the bcd... this was perfect for the problem I was looking at!

I have fixed my DELL inspiron 15 3000 series laptop with this toturial. Note: I have used windows 7 home basic 64-bit reinstallation DVD, changed my bios from UEFI to legacy and followed instructions from this video and able to boot my pc successfully. Thank you for such one.

This problem occurred to be because I accidentally changed "partition as active" to other volume of my ssd from disk the management. My windows is installed on same ssd .....so do I have to make that other volume "inactive" OR this solution will just work fine.... I'm so frightened bcz I don't want to lose my important data
