Yeahh. Some A-6E CAS finally! I love that thing! I my self use a loadout wiht 2x aim-9l, 2x GBU 10 and 2x GBU 12. I use the GBU 10s for russian tanks and GBU 12s for every other tank, because the small GBU 12 can’t always kill russian tanks because of ther good turret armour on top.

hey hunter, do you have a step by step guide for how to use the GBUs on the TRAM??? i just cant get them to work properly, i watch your vids alot on how to play certain vehicles... and even learned alot from your A4E vid on how to use the AGM62s... but i just for the life of me cant get the GBUs to work properly... they dont seem to follow my laser at all.... they just drop straight down.. even in level flight

As far as WT is concerned there is no difference other than size. IRL Paveway 2/3 allow for way more options in the drop profile other than just pointing itself right at the designation. Edit: misread GBU as LGB, what I've said applies to laser guided bombs, TV guided GBUs are fire and forget once you lock the target and drop them they will home in on what you targeted them on, laser guided you need to keep the designation on the target you want to hit but it is possible to change the target while to bomb is on the way.
Bigger\smaller explosive mass, and also there are differences in terms of the range of capturing targets, for example a TV Walleye can capture targets from farther distance than TV GBU-8.
@@Hunter_i86 but how are those better than the tv guided bombs when the laser alerts the enemy and you can only guide one at a time? With the A7E, you can hit 5 targets in a single pass.
Logically this should be 10.7-11.3 because the Gr.7 is around that BR and the two are very comparable vehicles in a lot of ways - with the A-6 being the slightly worse of the two... But the Gr.7 is so high primarily for its ground attack and this should be also.
I think the reason why this is so low is because in order to have guns or missiles you have to take away some ground attack ordnance. The harrier doesn’t really have to do that.
@@acuramattb4525 they're TV quided, and it hardly makes much of a difference - majority of the reason it was put up was down to its ground pound ability
@@soberpanda4138 the harrier does, you can't run guns and the targeting pod simultaneously (apart from if you glitch it with a specific Loadout start, which you get one) and the aim -9's run on the same pylons - you lose flares and chaff for every Aim-9 you drop. So if you go for a full ground pound Loadout - the harrier loses its countermeasures

hey hunter my bomb drops have been inconsistent with the paveways, what angles in relation to the ccip reticle do you drop em at and at what speed normally allows for better range?
It is just estimating, like dropping an unguided bomb .. if you want more guaranteed drops go in a slight dive and wait for "point" word next to bomb name at top left corner of the screen, drop when you see "point".
Maybe its my skill issue but i dont know how to make the GBU10 work on this. Even CCIP/RP with buts has become more easy to me. The GBUs simply disappear from my markings

@Xaymous Official that is caused by the ir tracker getting locked to a hotter target. To avoid, you can press sight stabilization a second time once you have locked the sight onto the target, and it will allow you to move the sight around the lock so that the laser maintains onto the target you want. If the target you want to maintain, the lock moves too far away from where the lock switched to then press sight stabilization yet again yo unlock and then either lock the original target again or manually keep the laser over the target until the bomb lands. I know thus was wordy, but I hope it helps.

Hello, because you are either too early or too late, you need to HOLD release button and it will automatically drop the bomb when the right moment comes.
hunter i love your vids! i am having tons of fun using the tram also but i have issues with the targeting pod, i can only lock targets and not of the other fancy stuff, whenever i unlock it turns off my laser too, ive never used a targeting pod before the tram and i need help with tips. do you know of a good vid to watch or could you make one?
Targeting pods in general suffer from bugs, sometimes you experience them and sometimes you don't .. my advise is don't mess around too much with them to avoid bugs .. also bind a key for "Sight Stab" and a another key for laser ON\OFF, so in case you lost the laser point you re-turn it ON again fast. @@jameshodgson3656 You don't need a radar lock to fire a ARM at a SPAA, so even a ADATS with IRST but with radar rotating will be destroyed.

95% GBU-12 kill everyone, t72 t80 t90 or another targets.

Because they nerfed the penetration value of the bombs, a bad solution to balance the game.
Everytime i spawn an A6 in ground RB, i get instagibbed by TOR's or 2S6's within seconds of spawning... in my 10.0 or below BR.

Yes, try to not hit the tank directly even with the smallest bomb you can still destroy it, fuse 1.0 second.
