What I've been doing with the f14B, basically bullying pantzir, is spoting pantzir as early as possible, saving its location with the new tpod saving feature, then flying like 20km away, climb to like 6km and go Mach, ccrp drop gbu12 for most range, immediately go cold while holding laser for as long as possible then extend and recommit at like 18km while sort of notching and maintaining laser. Since 99.99% of pantzir players don't know how to intercept ur bombs, they will magically dissappear by freedom delivery.
man, I wish more u.s players knew how to cas. it's uncommon for me to get 10+ kills and lose, and 50% of those kills were from f16. more us players need to fly better to win. no pantsir = more apache = possibly more kills
This is basically what I do except I stay at around 5,000m in order to avoid contrails which (imo) is a death sentence in top tier
That's what good about bombs in general like Paveway & GBU-8, they can be intercepted only by guns .. unlike Maverick, NORD, Kh-25\29, PGM 500\2000 which can be intercepted by SPAA missiles. Keep up the good work.

@deecat2018 there doesn't have to be such a system for people to realize that their vehicle (pantzir) is more than capable of defending itself against a-g weaponry
F14B really is the answer to the Pantsir. I die more to other aircraft than the bias trucks now. Big improvement for US Ground
Dude, PLANES Should never be the "answer" to Anti-air... This is kinda fucked up that we don't have real defense against airplanes...
@@lucass.8627 You do have defense against airplanes. If you die to CAS while in a top tier AA, especially the Pantsir, it’s just you getting outplayed by the plane, not the plane being op.
@@lucass.8627 you may as well not try and argue with to many people here about SPAA since a good 95%+ of them are air/cas mains. I do agree that SPAA are atm nearly completely outclassed by jets especially with all the new features for jets and all the needs to modern SAMs, people also don’t seem to care about the fact that 3 nations still don’t have SAMs (Italy, Japan, and Israel).
@@lucass.8627 I still believe the reason for the nerf to SPAA is because CAS mains don’t want to have to change their play style and Gaijin for whatever reason goes along with that, meanwhile playing ground is a mess because anybody can get kills in a plane, it’s not necessarily always a “high skill” thing
Now don’t get me wrong, there are some fantastic pilots like Hunter and a few others where it wouldn’t matter if we had some extremely OP SPAA because they could still get kills.
They need to make the Ground RB maps bigger. I noticed on Ardennes the Pantsir can hit you at the map border and it basically resets you 9 miles away at 300mph.

Every tanker wishes they had a Hunter being their guardian angel in the sky but instead get 25 KA-50/52's first-spawning and killing their entire team with bombs and guns.

Nice, I unlocked the F-14B a couple days ago but I will not be playing it until the stock flare update this month. I just can't bear to grind it stock right now.
Also seems that you use the phoenix as the 3rd AA option, I'm still thinking whether taking a sparrow or the phoenix would be better. I know, or at least heard, that using TWS prevents the phoenix from going pitbull (so no RWR lock warning at all), so that's a bit of a bug (which might be fixed by the time I spade the F-14B...). Although I don't know for sure if this bug is real or not, though I think i've been on the receiving end of it once when I got slammed by a phoenix from a F-14B without RWR lock warning, the F-14A does not seem to have this bug (from testing in a custom match) and the phoenix properly goes pitbull at 16km.

I know, but the bug is that of prevents the Phoenix from going pitbull at all. Normally TWS should also allow for general guidance up to 16km from the target and then the internal radar from the Phoenix takes over fror terminal guidance, which does give RWR lock warning. Currently this apparently is lacking, but I will need to test that myself. On the F-14A it works properly however.
It might be related that the TWS on the F-14B is bugged entirely due to the TCS implementation.

@@_.dany._8499 when you get the normal beeps with flashing circles, it's normal radar warning. when the circle is static with dotted lines and a different tone, that means you are being locked

Most of the time I and my friend need to spawn in 2 pantsirs to kill 1 bomb cat it’s too fast and needs too much lead to the missile to kill people will take time to learn this and will still fail many times cause it works only when the bombcat doesn’t manauvers
25:20 Do you have the wing sweep controls bound? The performance with the wings fully swept forward is drastically better, against the Su-39 you probably would have had an easier time and wouldn't have had to jettison your bombs.
I have them bound, was trying flaps only and I thought that I was already slow for the sweep .. maybe I'm wrong I don't know lol.
@@Hunter_i86@ Hunter I think that even using them late would have worked, but usually, it's best to sweep the wings forward as soon as you get into a fight, it allows you to deploy them at higher speeds, and the difference is tremendous. The turn rate is significantly improved, and it doesn't lose speed.

Its funny how fuel tanks in most soviet vehicles absorb energy from kinnect rounds better than composite armor and ERA. Im pretty sure it should be like that

TWS mode auto lock and the POI is slaved to lock after La Royale.
Do you prefer flying the F16A or F14B for CAS? I'm currently debating which should be my main CAS plane due to limited crew slots
Use both in lineup, F&F with no thermal TGP or laser GBUs with thermal TGP, both aircraft have duties, the choice depends pretty much on maps mostly. For example Fulda, you can't spot tanks easily on Fulda terrain because of the dark colors so thermal on F-14 would be helpful, and sands maps with mountains around you can do terrain masking and drop GBU-8 from F-16 and pull off immediately.

Tomcat is a nice addition to the U.S air force, they delayed it so much .. I mean everyone got supersonic jets with laser GBUs before USA the country that invented the damn weapon, so I'm happy for the U.S players to be honest .. also I think Mirage 2000 is the best CAS jet now in the entire game, it is supersonic, small, maneuverable, can use laser GBUs, laser missiles, TV weapons and has the best TGP in the game, I understand your point though .. Maverick D still better than PGM but man thermal great quality and insanely high zoom on Mirage 2000 TGP is just crazy.

It is the point of interest slaved to TWS lock by default after La Royale, bad feature to be honest.

Paveway is a laser guided bomb, you need to maintain the laser point until impact moment.

I will keep both in the lineup, one for fire and forget strikes and the other for laser GBUs with thermal imaging, the choice will depend on the situation in the battle.

Btw Hunter, I’m struggling in a one thing in the Tornado which is the lock, it always breaks and don’t track.
What is the suitable angle to attack from and to sustain after dropping?
Drop the bomb, turn right for example and tap roll right button to keep the plane rolled a little bit and the target in the FOV of the TGP.

I mean I used it well, I think I missed only once in the whole session lol. It is good to take out MiG-27k, MiG-29s since they don't care about NATO SPAA and fly high haha.

why do people use commander view rather than binoculars
On some of the modern tanks, NATO tanks mostly the commander can take the shot from commander optics, the commander optics is higher than gunner sight .. it can be helpful in hull-down scenarios.

I’m not sure if the one we have in game could, but I know that one of the Intruders could carry anti radiation missiles. If the one we have can’t, then they should add the one that could to the tech tree.

Is it just me or T-80s have become even harder to kill now? Like you shoot the weakspots and they survive so much longer (ammo turning orange, gun breach bouncing off, fuel tank absorving everything...).
In video you can see how abrams easy kill them with one shot

This is not Air RB, RWR warnings usually by SPAA here, and also there is no big diamond mark on missiles and no marks on players. Phoenix is not expected to be used in this mode.
Bro like you fly in and the spaa isn't even paying attiention to you shit is so lucky then your directly over the pantsir and it does nothing I am convinced gaijin purposely puts you in games with the worst players lol I dropped in the f14 b today and it was my worst moment so far it was 7 seconds before I was blasted out the sky I didn't even have time to acess the situation and fly down before I was plucked from the sky
I got killed while playing, 5 times by Pantsir S1 .. these are the successful runs.
