@@CaseyWillax facts!! best to find some beginner yoga series on here and work up to vinyasa flow series and figure out what asanas work best for you and your body. Some you can do sitting down or whatnot, yoga expands your mind in a different way.
I like how you explain the progression from absorb, pop, etc instead of just winging it lol😅. I’m starting to learn grabs and most of them will require air that’s more than what I’m comfortable with at this point. So this helps a lot.

I recently "found" your videos and just subbed ya'. I started riding back in the
winter of '88/89' and rode up to 00'/01' then life got in the way. I just got back
on the snow a couple weeks ago after more than 15 years and I had forgotten
how much I truly loved slidin' sideways down the mountain. Even being a bit
"older" and slower(and heavier) I still had the greatest time getting used to being
back on the snow.

I bought a new 149, 10cm shorter than what I'm used to so we'll see what happens! I strapped in at the house just to get a feel and when I was looking down at my feet, I'm like "holy shit this board is small!" I think it’s the visualization and spacial awareness that comes from repetition upon repetition. You’re basically calculating all you need to know on instinct instead of thinking about it.

That feeling is something that comes naturally over time 100%. Happens with anything bikes, skate, even doing flips on tramps higher you go body seems to naturally no to spin faster etc practice from a young age helps greatly . 👌🏼

It's a great deck, but I am hearing what you're saying about the reverse camber and having issues sticking spun landings. unfortunately jump speed is definitely a feel and experience thing. That being said, following someone that has a similar height/build to you that know what they're doing is a great thing to do before your first hits. Also, when you start spinning a bigger jump for the first time, it's a great idea to practice your setup carve with the speed you think you need, but then DONT spin and just straight air. This will get you confident with the speed and your setup prior to spinning bigger jumps for the first time. FOR THE CUERPO!

a jump is a rolling hill with the top cut off. Picture the arch of the jump as you would rolling over the hill. The only difference is a short absence of friction from lip to landing.

3 kicker in park was bigger than I thought.. landed on the flat (hard as cement) from high up.. I should have (checked it out slow, watched a few people go over it.. anticipate air time, size of kicker etc..) Spring conditions, snow gets slower...

Yeah at killington last year I realized I didn’t have enough speed for one of the bigger jumps so stoped at the lip and I had to drop down 15 feet on to flat

I feel this but I Have never been much of a jump dude, hit them more when I lived in Colorado but not like other people. Here in Michigan there are only a few ski areas that have good ones anymore and you have to drive over 3 hours each way and pay over $50 a lift ticket.
