this channel is so fucking good bros. kstar + alex improved my sleep a good 15-20% as a lifter with a dots north of 400. I had a real bad choline deficiency and turns out there is in fact a difference between taking 5g of creatine a day and 25g of creatine a day. a lot of this stuff a just a little more specific than you think.
In short, yes, they have positive correlation to each other. The more you can lift, the higher you can jump, and the higher you can depth jump, the more you will be able to increase your lifts. Doing weight lifting increases your muscle fibers recruitment efficiency and power threshold, while jumping increase your coordination and stability. Even if they don't have a causal relationship, they both build our physical foundation, think of our body as an engine, which in returns help each other out.
Plyos and weightlifting?? Will Ratelle has entered the chat*
That man need more recognition. His advice is very sound.

How did you find out you had a deficiency in this?

do you have to worry about knee injury with jumping? thanks
If you haven’t done it before and do way too much volume then yes
Even plyometrics helped powerlifting and Louie Simmons was one to teach people to pay attention to speed work
plyometrics
@Edgycoo yes, talk to text error I didn't proofread
I wonder why there’s a decline in strength after those two weeks? Great video nonetheless
Maybe combined fatigue from the depth jumps themselves, and from hitting bigger weights those 2 weeks
