Question for those of you still playing this game. Have they done anything to reduce the grind yet? It was pretty atrocious so I stopped before even completing the campaign.
They're adding this games version of destinys Xur with the update. A weekend vendor with a rotating shop that'll allow you to trade duplicate mats for a currency to spend on rare drops. You'll also be able to purchase things that were once cash shop exclusive like dyes & inventory space. The infiltration grind is great now that it's simplified, buffed decendant exp (1-40 in like 5-8 runs depending on the mission), and can be matchmade at higher %. The outpost grind is still a snoozer
The grind is still more or less the same for campaign amongst casual players. The rest of it, like grinding for characters or gun upgrades, better gear with near godlike rerolls, is still horrible. It's a gacha game, which isn't my cup of tea. So, if you're not used to playing games like Genshin Impact, Honkai rail, Dragonball Legends, RAID Shadow Legends, it's a constant grind, gamble and paying real life currency for cosmetics, battle passes or skipping certain progressions. The recent, _"Invasion Mode"_ (Hard mode with speed running) was a great way for those struggling to obtain gold or acquire the new character, _"Hailey"_ I like the feminine physique of women and the games cross-platform availability.

Nah, it's boring af. The grind is awful and I play Warframe and Destiny to give you an idea of how bad it is. It does nothing Warframe can't do better, you're better off playing that because at least they have the decency of giving you a lot of free stuff and the gameplay loop is more rewarding.

Tbh its really just the barebones understanding of an online f2p rpg using the warframe destiny model. But with that, it lacks the creativity of those games bcus they dont rely on pretty graphics to be their point of interest for consumers.
