This was my first video I have been watching peoples collection on cassette tapes and I love collecting them. How much for Motley crue too fast for love, Hanoi rocks tape, and wasted in America by love hate.
It was not clear to me how many cassettes there are but what I could see most striking to me is Slayer and AC / DC. Very nice, greetings from Buenos Aires, Argentina lml
Some good finds, that Page 99 is classic Screamo, also agnostic front, sick of it all, and brutal truth were surprising to see, a mixture of so many extreme metal and punk from the 90s.
Do you do childrens cassettes i collect sesame street. I need Merry Christmas a Sesame Street Sing-Along and Big Bird StoryMagic: The Colors Of Spring. Both only ever released on cassette.
I know I'm a bit late, but seems as though your Discogs store is non existent now? (btw bet ur stoked they finally re-released AIC Facelift on vinyl, I KNOW I AM!)
Hey Mick! We dont have much listed on discogs as we focus primarily on selling products in store and through our weekly record auction on Facebook. Send us a message if you're after anything particular and we'll see if we still got it..thanks!
@@BacktotheMedia thnx for the heads up, just started following ya'll on IG too...I tend to hate FB these days, and wish I lived near the shop. But for whatever reason I have been getting (heavily) back into cassettes as of late..I had to cool it on all the vinyl, so I picked up another damn habit smfh!! (at least it's a fun habit)
@@mickschnabel I'm right there with you. For about the last year, I've been getting back into cassettes. My wife bought me a sweet Technics RS-M255 deck, which is about in mint condition and works great. I recently bought another Technics M228X, phenomenal condition, for the garage. It's too nice for the garage, but that's where it's heading once spring rolls around.
@@olliecrow3547 I got myself a Teac AD 850 I think is what it's called, actually 2, one for my basement jam/music room as well. It's a cd/tape combo w/ remote. I still have a Pioneer dual deck, and a couple other CD players as well (Philips and a 5 disc Technics) for "backup"! Btw I now have roughly 500+ tapes. I got 4 of those 100 tape holders all pushed together up on the wall to create a "cassette wall", looks pretty sweet!
@@mickschnabel sounds like a sweet setup. I'm nowhere near 500+ cassettes. I definitely don't have the room for that many. Not until we move anyways. One day maybe. I wish I had the cassettes I had when I was younger. Although, I think I have bought most of the ones I lost anyways.
You hit a jackpot with those cassettes but slaughter still sucks never liked them in 1990 still think they suck just not my cup of tea. But if you like s laughter hey that's cool to each their own that's all I listen to is cassettes and since I can't buy cassettes from the local record store I'm trying to find places that sell 80s real heavy metal. I would buy most of your 80s metal cassettes but I don't know anything about this online crap I'm from the freaking 80s. Liked your video
Think your lost im from the 50s old boomer but most music I've at least given a listen to. Much of these I've heard maybe that's why I'm still cranking the tunes and now that the kiddies have flown I am working on a new stereo system since they destroyed mine. Hey no hard feelings I was a kid once thats why they love me and my music. But it's my turn again now the grandkids can have it when I'm gone. Tech passed me by and I'm OK wish that. Sounds like you are too.
@@larryh.4629 I'm 45 and listen to most of the music formats...MP3, CD, cassettes and vinyl. The last year, I have gotten back into cassettes. Joel, Slaughter is my cup of tea ;)
Nice stash to pull out on a rainy day. Let me know some of the J-Cards you may need for the ones you are missing. I got a stack of them. You can find me on Facebook (Aaron Rawlings) We have chatted and done business a few times.
clearly you use the word cool differently than i do, i cant think of much worse music than 80s hair metal....moteley crue should learn how to play rock music...j....led zep and ac dc were about the only good ones
Also form Virginia (Virginia Beach), You still have Neurosis, Immolation, Noothgrush, Abcess, Brutal Truth. I'm definitely into trading stuff
I love Slaughter as well. Seen them 4 times over the years. Reminds me of highschool........I'm old.
I love seeing your enthusiasm. I've never seen your page before, where is a list of your inventory?
Hi Doc we're currently working on getting our website populated with items. Check back in a few weeks. Thanks!

Thank you 🎵
I know the video is old. But I saw an Hanoi Rocks tape.By any chance you guys still have it?
Great to not really see the tapes. The presenters are in perfect focus, however.
Score Christmas and you bought your own gift.
Love Slaughter. No shame in that.

Pure gold
the megadeath is most likely a live show at the hammersmith
Hammersmith Odeon is now the Hammersmith Apollo. An iconic music theatre in London, famously the last Ziggy Stardust show played at the Odeon.
The 'commode'?!
Omg !! Box parfait
How he says, Odeon, lol.
Omg can I please buy the slayer age of aggression
Interested in Biocide if you ship internationally
Annihilation, Kaos and Astharoth too
Thanatopsis also

bbaah 80s metal is crummy
All these major bands on corporate labels sucks. But some GREAT DEMOS there.
