Chris, that dumper clutch doesn't have a release bearing, it's a carbon ring that presses onto the pressure plate. Also the retaining springs for the "release bearing" are missing. When you refit leave a little bit of play so the carbon is not constantly on the plate. Old dumpers are a right pain in the arse
Come on Chris up your rates, you’re well worth it. £250 for half a day, £400 for a full day. That’s including travelling 1 hour each way. 6 hours work. Only fans is a belter lol . Superb fun channel……🎉🎉

250? It’s a business. got to be able to tax, insurance, run and replace a van every 5 years. Buy and replace tools. Work wear and Ppe + Pay ur self a wage and a pension. Remember ur working for other companies, all ur do is make them a little better of by under cutting ur self Got to be 80-90 an hour and 20% mark up in what u sell in parts.
Im a mobile tractor and car mech and im.about 200 to 250 aday .and its a struggle . Lots of exspences. Some days can be less than 100 if parts are wrong and things go wrong

Hi Chris, I bought a JCB telehandler for a self build, I asked my local dealer to price up a full service kit and quote for labour to do it! It was something stupid like £1500 in parts and £500 for the monkey + Vat, non JCB oil would knock a few hundred £'s off.....what you need is a nice bus man's holiday to Cornwall, Sun, Sea and JCB..

You can get the griffite upgrade to a proper bearing. Just to say I'm watching this with dwindling fosters on a Saturday afternoon...... When I run out I'm on Stella....... That's a clutch release bearing should be to clips that hold it in on the side might also be worth checking the spigot bearing in the flywheel as well have done a few of those clutches when I was a plant fitter I believe the clutches that fit are for a land rover Freelander and don't forget to put some grease on the output shaft to help it slide in and the plate for the gear lever as it will sit down to far in the gearbox

Everybody you work for knows that you don't quit until it's done and if you screw up you fix it. That's loyalty and they should pay you extra for that. Just sit down with them and explain you're just about break even on the jobs. If they value you, they will pay.

Chris I know several mobile mechanics and they all charge between £35-£40 per hour. £35 per hour is the minimum now a days. Sort it out mate 👍
