  • Press the 6 & 8 Please is the latest video in the dice advice series. Viewer submitted strategies that I test and roll out. Hungry 6/8 was submitted by Left 4 Red and uses an across bet on all the box numbers. The winnings from any number hit is used to press the 6 & 8. Anytime the 6 & 8 hits, you collect. Hopefully you can get the 6/8 pressed up and then start rolling them.

I just used this strategy, but at higher denoms. Starting at 220 inside. A few times lost money and a few times hit big. After I recouped my investment on the roll I'd press the 5 and 9 to 125 so I can press 6&8 up 60 each every hit. Cashed out 6k 👍 this is my new favorite strategy

i've been gambling for over 40 years in Las Vegas and around the world and i am here to give you THE best advice for winning at craps and other casino games...and here it is...If you've had a bad day at work, dont go gambling. If you woke up and stepped in your puppies pee or poop, dont go gambling. If you had a flat tire, argued with your spouse or otherwise had a lousy day- DONT GO GAMBLING!
If your gambling bankroll is $100 or $500, if you cant feel comfortable GIVING that money ONCE IN A WHILE to a homeless person or some other person in need, DONT GO GAMBLING!
Winning at gambling is all about Karma, feeling good and being happy! Period. Will you win every time? Of course not. But when you lose that $100-$500 you can feel comfortable with yourself and avoid the depression and let down many, many people experience with losing money. I wish you all the best of Karma and best of luck, now let's go win some House Money!!!

The best strategy is placing your bet on PASS or NO PASS and take maximum odds if you can afford it. The ODDS bet is the only bet where the house has no advantage over you. Odds on 6 or 8 will pay 6:5 because there are 6 ways to make 7, but only 5 ways to make 6 or 8. Exact odds also applies to 4,5.9 and 10. There is nothing magical about 6 and 8. Also money management is important and under your control, and luck is important also, but not under your control. My last comment is play for amusement. Win or lose, it is the price you pay for entertainment. Have fun.

i also rarely ever press my bets but then again i've never been able to be on a table the at the same time as a hot roller (and i myself, cant roll worth a shit) so i always go minimum across 5-6-8-9 then as soon as 1 of them hits i take them all down and restart on the next roller/point. it's a grind but im not losing my whole bankroll in the first 3 shooters anymore on a crap day.

@@GeorgeWashingtonGaming1 I'm inclined to agree with you and what I do if I want to hang in those remaining three bets is to spend a buck or two and play the hops on those remaining six numbers at 15 to 1.... The cost of covering those three numbers is only 12 bucks and the odds are 15 to 1 so if you hit one you make another 30 bucks... The downside of course is that they're one roll bets but it gives you the option of staying in a little longer for at least one roll then decide.

Played this the other night and it worked out great. In a state where table isn't allowed so was on a $1 bubble machine. Started with $1 across, with 5,6,8 at $2 because the field is an auto $2 bet. If I hit 4 or 10 I would press both for one unit as well as the 6/8 since the field hit as well. After that, $3 each on 6/8. If hit 5, is press the 5 to $3 and rebet the field. Hit 5 again, rebet field and press 6/8 one unit each. If 6/8 I'd collect until I reached $10 on each. After that if they hit I'd collect and press a dollar until I got to $20 then press $2 each while collecting the rest. If 9 hit I'd press it one unit to $3 and one unit each 6/8. After that every 9 hit I'd press 6/8 $3 each.
I made it to $30 each on 6 and 8, regressed to $5 each and made them back up to $10 before big red hit and I was up $100. Next several rounds I stayed even. The last round I got the 6/8 up to $35, the machine maximum and was pressing my other numbers to get them higher.
In 45 minutes using this strategy, I proffitted $287, on a "dollar" table.
Thanks for the strategy Color Up. Can't wait to try it on Fremont.

Enter again -> Winning progressive (press a unit on each) across on all the place bets. Piggy back Hard ways (two way for the team/crew). Hoping to receive some profit and to receive the cheques properly without splashing or tossing as well as the dealer talks the game, repeating the amounts etc letting me know how much change etc I will be receiving. Like the strategy, but why wouldn’t it be a good idea to remove the bets from your #s after hitting? Meaning you hit the 9, use the winnings to press the 6/8, but take down the 9. Wouldn’t it be slightly more conservative and keep you in the game longer?

    • @rickysmith6041

but then it's not really pressing, you're just moving bets. I like this strategy as someone who never presses, infinitely pressing turns it into a reverse martingale where you are inevitably going to seven out unless you have a cutoff point. I like how this strategy has a way to collect winnings in a way that makes perfect sense.
I'm getting the sense you want to move the bets off the winning numbers because they already hit, so put your money on stuff that hasn't hit yet. But it is exactly the same probability of hitting whether it won or not. The bets do not mathematically change whether you hit them or not. 6 and 8 are better bets than the 5 or 9 so technically in this example it would be better to move them but only because you're better off not betting the 5 or 9 at all.

I play a variation of this strategy. I start off with $160 across and I work on the come out. My variation though, Is that I press up the other box numbers first, evenly on every hit until they reach $50. On average, you get 6 rolls before 7 shows. I pull down or turn off my bets after the 5th roll and wait for the 7. Once the 7 shows, I am back on. And NOW, I am racking 6&8 hits, pressing the 6&8 on box number hits. I will try to run up the 6&8 $120 on each and that is my max. Always mindful of the inevitable 7. It is my belief that you cannot win in craps if you do not regress or take down bets. The 7 is inevitable.

  • @BowserKoopa1
    @BowserKoopa1 4 года назад +9

Good strategy in theory. The 6 and 8 are going to roll more frequently than any other number besides 7, so you want to take advantage and keep pressing up the 6/8.
The problem with this strategy is that it is way too aggressive, and it's impossible to make money. Look we all know that 7 is lurking in the shadows and that it'll roll sooner or later. You keep pressing the 6/8, eventually that 7 will pop up. Add to that the fact that the other place numbers have bets on them, and you are just inviting that 7, which will eventually roll. I would regress the bets after so many rolls. And after you've got the 6/8 up to say 3 or 4 times what you originally had on there, don't keep pressing. Let it roll out and see what happens. But if you get greedy and keep pressing too much like in this strategy, that 7 is gonna getcha.

I think one modification you should do is until the 6/8 hit $30, you still press them if the dice land on 6/8. Since they are the most common, might as well get them pressed up regardless of the dice so you can get bigger returns and even at three units, you can do $14 press and a $7 collect and then at four units you do another $14 press with a $14 collect.

Don’t get paid until after the 5th roll.
Move all winnings to the 6/8, (alt of even moving the place bet hit (10.00) to the 6/8.
As you move inward you can bet the hardway 4/10 to cover. 2.00 hop 5/9 to cover (1 roll). After 5 rolls take down fr. 6/8 (determine you take/break even/profit.
Hot shooter use sugg of field bet along vs. your higher 6/8 place bets.

$500 bankroll, finished with $853. The 3 big rolls helped a lot. But we also did have quite a few Point 7's. So I do like this strategy. Will have to try it out at a casino next time I am there.

Craps like every table game is about luck, skill and calculated risk. With $500, the best method is to place 90 on the 4 5 6 8 and 9. Using dice control techniques, one has a decent chance of quickly winning a Benjamin. The bettor can then take all bets down and lay $100 against the ten, using dice control techniques to avoid the 10 and hit a 7. With a $10 Do Not Pass bet, the total win is over $150 very quickly. The odds of that happening are much higher than what you propose.

I've made $7000 Canadian in a night before playing craps and why not balance with the hot numbers otherwise it takes too long to get going. I'd do things differently. For example after come out roll. Play field and cover the 5,6,8 and if field hits, put that on the 4,9,10 depending what was rolled. If 4,10.get to $20, just buy them. One shooter went off on a 48 min monster roll. It was a $5 table and I started building at $5 on the 4,10 and when the shooter 7d our I had the 4,10 bought for $200 each and at certain level I didn't raise like I normally would and made off with $1700

I do this strat myself, but I modify it. I don't press til I get to the 64, then press. Takes either 5 5-9 rolls or 2 4-10 and 2 5-9 rolls to get to. Everything after that gets racked. After you make the next 64, you spend your next hits pressing the outside 4 til they are at next level, then go back to collecting. At that point you are at least 20 numbers in most likely from the craps numbers hitting so press and collect at your own risk with over 130 on the table. Best I ever pulled was 600 in one run at a 5 minimum table.

One that’s not how probability works, a one in six chance doesn’t mean on the sixth roll. It also means by your theory you would want to take it down on the fifth roll and skipped the sixth.
I see people do this in the casino take it down on the sixth or seventh roll (both wrong for your system) and both not in anyway avoiding mathematical probability and then the roll comes no seven they put their bets back up and next wrong is a 7 out and they lose all bets up. Mathematical probability is worth learning first.

The drawback is they don’t get that huge 2:1 advantage for the player on the come out roll.

be effective if the dice co-operate and grant the shooter a good roll. When the dice are cold, most strategies will fail. Anyone who suggests one strategy will give the players a better
chance of making money than other strategies is deceiving himself. The dice determine whether the players will be successful. This is not rocket science!
