Both my Asian parents were really short, my dad was 4 foot 11 due to malnutrition during the second world war. They made sure I had lots of sports, complete meals and lots of sleep. My brother grew to over 6 feet and I ended up at 5 foot 10. And yet I still ended up in a relationship where, even though I was taller than my ex gf, she still desired a man who was over 6 foot 4. I later dated many women who felt the same way as my ex until I married my wife who is pretty tall but doesn't care about any of that stuff. I really dodged a bullet with the previous relationship, ya gotta be happy with who you are, and stand tall on your principles.
You now what, the best partner is someone that can accept you as person, if she feel doubt or unsatisfied with a few things about you such as height or whatever, that's means she not for you, keep fighting king
It's really ridiculous how people can care so much about height.. I'm glad you managed to find your wife who isn't superficial! It can be hard to find a partner like that nowadays. Congrats
@SunnyHikikOmori yep thanks and I agree. I understand that in the early days people have preferences and want to be attracted etc. But life really changes when you have kids and it's not about yourself as much or at all in some cases. We've been married almost 10 years now and it's been so great to be with each other and raise our kids together.
I'm a 168cm man, and of couse I googled "how to get taller" a few times, and in my experience I can say is just a matter of self esteem, when you start taking care of yourself like you should, and you see the results of that, all those insecurities fade away. If you can't grow taller just grow wider 💪
us bro us , i feel like a loser with height same as you , I need to have atleast 6abs with more than 100k dollars yearly income with house and a tesla to gain enough confidence to propose my love , hope i did all this in this lifetime ,,, hope so
There's a book called Height Maximization Protocol Unleashed, and it talks from increasing your height techniques to boosting your height potential, it's the real deal
You'll never be happy with yourself if you constantly look at what you don't have. Just try to be happy with what you've got, and make your body the best it can be, make your personality better, make your mindset better. There are people much shorter, but you have to get over the fact you are shorter.
I’m 5’5 and 17 years old. My girlfriend is 5’9 so very noticeable taller than me. I do wish I was a bit taller but it doesn’t matter. My girlfriend loves me for me. Nothing else. I love her for that. She doesn’t mind me being shorter either and I don’t mind her being taller. So the advice I’d have for all the short guys out there, is don’t be scared. Find a queen, shirt or tall. But know that you’ll be a short king. The small cuts always cause the biggest punches. Stay true 🙏🙏🙏
I am 5"7 too, but I think no chick is ever worth going through this much pain, spending this much money, spending almost a year of your life in hospital,I was or I say I still am conscious about my height, watched so many yt videos about how to increase height, did different stretches, did everything what I could buy still people made fun or crack jokes about my height,I am unaffected by that cause I hv accepted my self, and constantly trying to improve myself in other aspects of my life, and I am currently on 90 days challenge too,it's all in our heads fellas accept yourself and see how peaceful and beautiful life really is👍
There’s ZERO chance anyone is making fun of a 5’7 height unless you are carrying yourself as a total wimp, in which case they would do the same at 6 foot. Act like a man and nobody is cracking jokes at someone that height.
I'm 1.65 and I wouldn't do that at all. I like playing football too much just for giving that away to "attract a bit more women". Girls that care too much about height and such superficial things are just not worth your time and effort, so why wasting that amount of money in satisfying them?
I'm 5 2'' and I used to be conscious about my height. Through out living my day to day overall life, I learned that it doesn't matter, because what's most important is your vibe and how everyone gets to experience what makes you "you". What matters is your charisma, the way you see yourself and the good energy you put out into the world. Now I embrace my height and even make jokes at work about it when I can't reach something in a higher shelf. The point is not to make a punching bag out of yourself but being comfortable with who you are. Some people who were super successful were short too like Dio or Prince. For guys who are insecure about their height, I suggest watching owen cook - any video about overcoming insecurities. This guy nails it on the head.
5'2? Bro that's rough from the get go. Ancient humans used be be taller due to higher pressure and more oxygen. So if you have a child, make sure he goes into hyperbaric oxygen every night for bed and give him human growth hormone while growing. Donald Trump is doing something similar for Baron Trump and Baron is like 7ft tall at 16 y/o right now.
you forget, that many women treat short men like garbage. if you are not 180+ cm, they just don't see you. like you are not created for them. i know that from experience :) and after that, they say, that they love for soul and charisma
Here's an ugly truth : Individuals standing at 5 feet often yearn to be 5.5 or taller, those at 5.5 aspire to reach 5.10, individuals at 5.10 wish to hit the 6-foot mark, those at 6 feet desire to be 6.4 or even taller, and those surpassing 6.4 wish for a slightly more moderate height. In essence, contentment with one's height seems to elude everyone. Live a little❤❤❤
Great news, brother! Some folks may wonder, but I believe God determines our height, and we should embrace His decision and find happiness in it.@@XolbEulb
Issue is, men who are not tall, are insulted and joked about by not only women, but men also. This will overall mess and destroy men's confidence levels. It's a known fact, that men who are under 6' and with every inch less, becomes a lot more insecure (NOT ALL MEN, but most). Insecurity levels will be random, but mostly men in the WESTERN World have a lot more insecurities regarding height. My personal advice? First work on yourself. Work on finances. Work on exercise and building a secure future and life that is a 10/10. If these STILL don't gain you the results you want, then by all means, try the surgery. But have it as a last option I say.
Solid Advice my man! I'm 5 foot 3 and have everything I could want. I've also walked upto many women with confidence and got great results. Height only matters, if you let it matter. Pretty much all about confidence. Some women won't want a short man. That's fine. Their lose :)
Lulling towards materiarism is a bad advice because it's just like a psychological baby bottle. In reality materialism and finances only creates apparent, but in reality like a super thin, like a pre cracked glasswall around manlet's weak and fragile psyche which is shattered by even the slightest impact. Thus they will cur up only deeper and deeper into safe refuge created by materialism. It's so sad, because they can't accept themselfs as they are born.
People have an image of surgical procedures as being rather controlled and delicate, and sometimes that's true, I know. But in the book "The Making of a Surgeon" one doctor who's advising the trainee says his technique sometimes is to "meatball it." And basically it meant screwing all delicacy and just getting the surgery over with. He explained that while that may seem crude or even cruel to the patient, it meant that the surgery would end more quickly, and this improved survival rates.

I saw an interesting study once, women in America have an obsession with the number 6 when it comes to height. When women in other countries are asked what their preferred height in men was, it was a steady, bell curve like graph. For women in America, the line is steady until 5'11. Between 5'11 and 6 there is a huge jump in girls preferring 6ft as their minimum height. It was fascinating, and I wonder why our society is so obsessed with this.
Yeah and the result is most people slightly exaggerating their height to get closer to the ideal standard. I've never once heard of a person underselling their height so it makes sense that people have an warped sense of what 6 feet actually is lol. It's like when people say they jumped off a 60 foot cliff when its like 15-20 feet max
@@turnwaiterHeightflation is like no other, it makes 6’ seem a lot smaller than it actually is. I was only 5’7 in my senior yr of hs but I was a late bloomer and reached 6’. In my hs graduating class of 330 people, maybe about 15 out of the 160 or so guys at most were 6’ or more. because they are stupid and completely controlled by trends, it's that simple. That and women believe guys fake measurements guys give them. They heard that 6 foot was desirable and they convinced themselves it was what they should want and that if every other princess gets it so can she. Just the same way you can sell products to them that they don't need, they are oversocialized and as a result ovlery concerned with trying to match up to made up standards they learn via TV and social media. You even get women that are 5'1 and mid 30's unmarried thinking they're too good for a guy that is 5'9 and in his mid 20's because of a couple inches of height that do not matter in the era of firearms. And i'm a 5'9 guy and i've known several guys who claim to be 6' (and I believed them) but when I stood next to them we were roughly at the same at eye level and shoulder level. I've had women who had the hots for me act like I suddenly wasn't good enough for them because I was honest about my height.
I mean women literally get BBLs which are one of the most dangerous cosmetic procedures you can do, when they could literally just go to the gym and get way better results if they just put in the effort. Also think about how many girls say a certain height is a REQUIREMENT. Something you can’t control. Yet almost no guys have an ass requirement, something you can control. I am lucky to be tall but I really do get it. Not a lot of tall people seem to get it though. Not wierd ig since they don’t know what it’s like to be short.
Mate, you can't gain 7+ inches of ass by going to the gym lmao. But even with bbl being dangerous as hell, it still heals, this surgery leaves the patient in pain forever

Your height plays a key role in your survival chances. Being tall means you need more calories and micro-nutrients to sustain yourself. Being short means having less tissue that you would need to metabolically maintain (think muscles, bone density, tendon strength, nerve cells (all cell types). This is a massive advantage if you were to live as a hunter gatherer like the Hadza tribe for example where food availability is scarce. In the Western world, salary and food intake being exactly equal, your tissue to (micro-) nutrition ratio is better; so tissue quality is better. Your body is healthier. Also, the larger the species, the longer it will live. But within a species, the smaller variant will live longer. Take dogs for example. Small dogs always outlive large dogs by a large margin. All in all, there are many more benefits to being short. From a dating perspective in this day and age, in our part of the world, yes, being tall is often more desired. Why? Many factors influence that. But from a survival perspective, not so much. Please don't discount your genetics. Modern societies have only been around so long. We were hunters and gatherers first. And our unique genetic code allows us to survive and adapt in our unique ways to harsh conditions. Maybe if the world goes south, you will view your height and body in a more positive light. Good luck. p.s. many studies show that height is mainly important in the western world. Outside of it, in places where survival matters, many other qualities are often preferred over height; eyesight, kindness (child rearing), tracking skills (areas of the brain make this happen, also dna), etc etc etc. If partner choice was always based on height, we would lose great functional DNA over the generations and be left with stupid tall people unable to survive.
I think it will bound to happen, you see, because of social medias, human compare each other more openly, frequently and fiercely, now not only more and more people using anabolic steroids, plastic surgery, and i bet sooner or later, height surgery or even penis enlarge surgery will become more and more popular too. We put more and more effort on looks (and in contrast, there are also more and more people who go another extreme which is anti-superficial looks in superficial way, from history we can see its always 2 kind of powers against each other), yet we ignored more and more on mental health and mental resilience as well, but of course going extreme way to make outlook better is also a sign of insecurities. I seriously doubt these people can have healthy leg after height surgery, maybe have weaker bone or cant walk or run as much as before, and i cant imagine how they will become when grow old.
@@user-to2wn9ry7ymaybe for some people it can be a coping mechanism and I wouldn’t blame them as some women put an outsized emphasis on height. I rather see it as educating other people on the pros and cons of both qualities and giving them the tools to shift their values, and by doing so, it won’t be a cope but a strength. Being tall is awesome, being short is awesome. Though I must say, if you view it as a cope, and you are tall, maybe you derive too much self-esteem from it. Relying on external validation makes you weak as it can slip away at any moment. Cultivate self-esteem based on internal values. Your life will be much more peaceful. Good luck.
this is possible thanks to the properties of wolffs law(which is basically how your bones repair themselves whenever you break them) so when the surgeon breaks the bone and the machine move the end away from the other the bone repairs itself, this is just a basic idea behind it
i had a friend get this is in one of his legs, do to uneven bone structure.. several months in a wheel chair, tedious recovery training.. you prolly wont be able to ever squat heavy heavy weights again EVER... its not worth it for 10cm
I've read some comments on FB like this one: A man below 6" is not a man but a keychain (a very short man). Or: A man below 6" is another woman. Some girls say: A man below 6" has no chance with me. Even my sister said once: I rather be with the tall guy than with a short man even if he is a nice guy. When I say I don't care about those opinions some men says: yeah because you're short. But guess what, if a woman only is interested in a man based on his height, or that is so important for them, that woman is someone I don't want as a partner, I don't like shallow people. Of course I would like to be taller, but since that is not possible, I learnt to be grateful for what I am.
I am 6'0 because I was lucky to grow until I was pretty old (relatively) finished growing now though and I still think these comments are ridiculous. I am not against dating preferences but I am against putting others down on the basis of your dating preferences.
It is one thing to have surgery for aesthetic reasons. It is quite another if it is done for correction reasons, which is why these operations originally arose in Russia. The most accepted and balanced proportions for a man should be 45% torso and 55% legs. The legs should have a tibia-femur ratio of 25% tibia and 75% femur. It is important to see if there is a deviation in these proportions due to the effects of nutrition, birth problems and development. The operation is justified. Failure to do so can lead to hip problems in old age. If the operation is done for aesthetic reasons, and the candidate is outside the aforementioned proportions, the operation is a danger to the candidate's health with regard to his future.
doctors already found the safe limits height of it, approximately 4-5cm on femur, 2.5-3cm on tibia, minimum 3 inch taller is enough. credible clinics shouldn't sacrifice function for height.
I am 5'11 and also have a above average personality but still I have 0 scores because I don't have the communication skills on the other hand a 5'4 guys with good communication skills gets a lot more attention than me so height is a factor but not the only factor 🙂
@@Not_a_creep69 You're making it seem like both are set in stone. It's not. It's like saying "Oh I'm tall, but I'm fat. Girls don't like me because I'm fat". The fat you can work on, bones not so much in comparison. If all being equal: looks, money, "good communication skills" and only factor difference was height (set to the liking of girl), it's 100% she will go for the taller version.
What I'm trying to say here, is that a taller guy (to an extent, nothing freakish) would have an easier time to change what they can, in this case "communication skills".
as a 4’11 guy in high school i would do this in a heartbeat, just the looks i get in the hallways and just feeling generally tired of trying to look taller than i actually am is exhausting i am way to young to get the surgery and maybe there will be developments in the future?
Yes fr get this for 20 centimeters at 4'11 there is not many complications for 20 cm at shorter heights and you will be 5'7. Genetics wont be a problem in the future as we will be able to transfer conscience to another body which could be 95% metal and 5% biological we are lucky enough to be born in the 21st century where you can be cryogenically frozen to wake up any time in the future but yes until tech advances getting this to 5'7 will be a good stopgap solution and it will improve your qol im sorry that you got the bad hand genetically but thats all you can do for it rn. And? You will still remain short after this surgery. I am in high school too but people like you make my blood boil just grow a thick skin dude. I may sound condescending fine,
I think it is not just dating life, if you are let say 165cm, then even in meetings or simple meetups, people wont really look up to you from the start (and not just literally). I am not saying you cant be respected or be popular if you are short, but it is a disadvantage on the first meeting, be it dating or business. You need to work harder for people to accept or respect you if you are short.
I'm exactly 165cm, and I have never had issues not to be seen, heard and even respected in any work and professional situation. But have I being "seen" by females when I was younger and trying to find someone, probably not too much. Not that it matters anymore.
@@NightwishArena I have a good job, and I think people give me respect. Im just saying it can happen with certain people. I already have a wife, so it doesnt really matter anymore, but from 10 girls even the same height or shorter, at least 6 gave me the "you are to short card".
@@mikeydewilliams5862 I copy this post I made for this video: "As a 5'4" (165cm) man, I can totally understand why he wants to go through that. It s_cks to be short. With that said, I'm happy that I have found my wife and we have three adult kids...and my boys are about 5'10" to 5'11". I always feared that they are going to be short like me, because it is not easy to find yourself a partner when you are short, and you are kind of "handicapped" in many sports too. You probably don't get as many chances if you are an actor or singer etc. You lose a lot of good things in life in general, which is especially true if you have a low esteem and insecurities (I had, but I never showed that to anyone). For me the worst part was dating. Sure, I had few girls who were taller than me, and I finally managed to find the best woman in the world, but it could have gone other way, which would have been devastating. And I don't understand why this height is such an issue for girls. Best example of that is one woman I know. Her first criteria for dating apps and such is that guy has to be at least 6ft tall. She is about 5' 10-11" herself, but I would have presumed that because she had her dose of bad luck in relationships already (with a violent and narcissist husband), height wouldn't be her first concern."
I totally can understand why men would go through this to be taller. I’m a 5’7” tall woman, when I was young 30 years ago, I would have totally gone through this if I could be 3 or 4 inches shorter. To be able to wear shoes that aren’t ballet flats would be amazing, all dresses look awful in flats. To not be half a head taller than other women my age is but a dream. To not be the weird odd woman in the group. To not be avoided by men who are under 6 feet tall. To just not feel like the giraffe among others would have changed my entire life. I get it.
5’7” is above average for a woman, but it’s not tall. Loads of women are taller than that and lots of guys like taller women, same can’t be said about short guys…
@ People continue to get taller with each generation, so a 5’7” woman is not extremely tall by today’s standards. However, at 60 I can see over the heads of almost all women my age and especially those who are older. If I would have put heels on 20 years ago, (which I definitely avoided), I would have been a head taller than most. Taking into account that people used to dress much more formally before the turn of this century, you can imagine how frumpy I appeared at the office wearing a dress/skirt and flat slipper-like shoes while other women could wear heels.
As a tall man i feel like although its nice to be tall and have some advantages like reaching almost anywhere high its a BIG disadvantage if you have to reach low, my job requires me to restock lower shelves and i have to nearly lie down in my jobs floor just to do my job cuz otherwise it hurts my back to get that low lol
I am sorry, but having troubles reaching lower shelves is infinitely better than being rejected, mocked, disrespected and considered an incomplete human being by many. literally 80% of girls on dating apps won't even see a profile of a 5'7 guy(and it's not even that short, girls are just so picky today). it isn't only about girls, wages are majorly different too. tall people appear more dominant thus every inch of height on average will give you about 800$ per year. also a tall guy is two times less likely to commit a suicide than a short guy. think about that than you have a back pain at your job again.

bone density would not be a problem, since the body very well able to heal bone. The problematic part is all the muscle, nerve and so on surrounding the "new area" which did not grow organically in your youth. stability would be a problem as well I think, even in long term

Bone constantly repairs and grows gets stronger. So in theory yeah you could potentially do it. Would be a little worried about muscles arteries veins. Those don’t grow.
those don't grow, exactly, they adapt, thats why there's a limit of lengthening each day, safe limits in total for each femur & tibia, intense & strict diet & physical therapy, and the list goes on. in elementary school terms, if you gains 3-4 inch of height, you added a weight of infant in your body in 3 months, and thats mental.
I wish people would stop caring soooo much about height... Like: "If my gf is on heels she looks taller than me". Why should it be a problem, it's literaly irrelevant. When i'm around my closest male friends i'm the older one but also the shortest, and sometimes i can feel the judging eyes of other people looking at me like i'm inferior. Because of many other things it took me quite a while to accept myself the way i am, but this annoying obsession with height that soo many people consciously, or sub-consciously show makes it harder not to fall back into that dark pit.
I'm 5'7" (170 cm) and sure, I'd like to be a little bit taller. Like if I could enter a height number into a machine and press OK and I immediately grew to my desired height at no cost and at no risk then.. yeah, sure. I'd be 6 ft tall. But paying a fortune for it? And at a risk to health or even life, or going through agony for months after the surgery? Hell no.
Im 5 foot 7 and 3/4ths, and ive never had an issue getting a woman, or doing anything else. Height doesnt affect muscle strengh, so hold all the power of a guy 6 foot, but im faster and more coordinated, everything id give up in reach i take control of by getting closer , which gives me full range of motion , while they cant generate power or speed. Fimd your abilities at any size and make them even better. Everything bas an advantage if you take the time to look for it and put the work in. We are all specail in our own ways , short people have survived for a very longtime for a reason , there are tons of advantages for everything friends. Love who you are , dont cbange tk be skmething else for someone else. Why is it something wrong with you , it is actually the people who your trying to please that have something wrong with them. Whats crazy is i have the genes to be tall, my father is over 6 foot, my sons are all iver 6 foot, and my brothers are all over 6 foot, yet they all co.stantly complain that i have it better because im in shape and take care of my body, so i get the looks from women, i get the attention for.the muscle i carry, and im older then them , 45 and still im great shape. So take this seriously, taking care of what you have will give you everything that you think beimg taller will! Then you get to keep it forever without surgery or pain, and your just loving yourself!

I even have a gf who loves me for who I am, and although I'm grateful I also want to be happy myself so I'm gonna do it no matter what.
Extremely painful. Those of us who are familiar w dealing w pain, know what thats like. If you're lucky and always heathy you dont know pain. These are the ones that go ahead w this process.
To be honest. Length is overated. If you are confident enough you can find love. Woman that would reject you because of your length are not worthh your time. Personality and connection are the only things that matter
Having Crohn’s disease I was 5’0” when I started high school and it was terrible. I was very lucky to get to 5’10” but I can really identify with/remember how tough it was being short as a guy.
thats temporarily, there's a serious case people who does this surgery having a body dysmorphia disorder, they wouldn't fancy temporary or fake way to achieve more height, they want taller, permanently. its how they perceived their own body.
@@kuba0008 I wouldn't say it's wrong, it is still true. And when you may be right about it starting from within, doesn't mean other people will change how they treat you, because of you. You could be that same height or even taller than them with Conzuri shoes or Nike Air forces with an insole in them or elevator shoes in general but they tend to hurt once you wear them for more than 3 hours if you go anything above 2 inches. So I’d say if the surgery is something you’d get I’d say go for it if it elevator shoes are not good enough
If you are truly 5'10" than 6 ft is only two inches taller than that which is barely detectible.

I've never once heard of a person underselling their height so it makes sense that people have an warped sense of what 6 feet actually is lol. because they are stupid and completely controlled by trends, it's that simple.

With both partners being 5'7, their kids can turn out to be between 5'10-6'2. Because I legit know a lot of couples who were at these heights and their kids turned out to tall.
Yup
@Big-bob560 There is no way 5'7 would need same amount of calories as a 6'3 guy. Tall people are heavier.
@Big-bob560you have no knowledge on this subject and I advice other people not to take your answer as fact.
Good luck.

this is possible thanks to the properties of wolffs law(which is basically how your bones repair themselves whenever you break them) so when the surgeon breaks the bone and the machine move the end away from the other the bone repairs itself, this is just a basic idea behind it
Wolff law is different concept. It's where mechanical load will remodel existing bone

"As a 5'4" (165cm) man, I can totally understand why he wants to go through that. It s_cks to be short. I think that short boys should get growth hormone injections to make things even, we only have this one life after all.
165 isn't even that short, why do y'all act like it's 140 or something lol
The best way to overcome being short is to become really successful. Doesn't matter how short you are when you're worth millions.

Like if I have my 5'10" friend next to my 6 foot friend and I looked really closely I would see a small difference. This just goes to show how superficial this is, instead I ask you to use that money to donate to charity.
@EatonArrsenik A 5cm height difference is very noticeable actually. My brother use to be 8cm taller than me and he looked huge before.
Waste of money for you 5ft 10 is not short
@mike54HDW Its a mog or get mogged world. Maybe he just wants to mog other men.
I will do 1 dumbbell lift for every likes AND Comments I get
A
B
Cap
He just wants likes
Shut up
Oh gosh, that’s so extreme- but to each their own.
I’ve dated guys 5’4” up to 6’2”. Height really doesn’t and shouldn’t matter so much.
Nice how 4'11 woman end up with 6'2 dude
JFL, Let's see who you're dating now.
you are the exception to the rule
For a 4'11 woman like you, 5'4 is already enough
It is usually used to equalize leg
So if the right leg is longer than the left they do the surgery to the shorter leg
Yeah but now it’s used for the sole purpose to gain a few inches which is insane some ppl will go the extra length (no pun intended) with unpredictable complications
@@Allin1Xavi yeah it is quite dumb and all that and he might gain like 2 cm
Like man what the hell you lose money and the ability to walk freely for a year
I watch videos like this so that i can feel gratitude for being 5'10. I actually even went asking 5'4 ,5'5 guys how would they feel if they were 5'10.
My story went something like this , i was the tallest kid if the class but since age 15 , everyone else and most of my friends overtook me in height and I started to feel average. To make things worst my dad is 5'10.5" , my dad is a strong 5'10, I was being told my everyone i'd grow to 6 feet in childhood, but now my relatives look at me in despair when i tell them I'm slightly shorter than my dad
Do your relatives have palpably low IQs? Are the highest performing (physically) super-soldiers in the U.S. military like Navy SEALs generally around 5'10" How tall is Mike Tyson?
I'm 5.3ft.... I want to be taller...😢😢😢😢 Any guys short if you think u don't get it gals, come to south east Asian countries... You will definite get gals lol...
What about your men?
