    This sounds like the music that would play as you are passing through into the after life and you are looking back on all of the great memories and times you’ve had but at the same time sad that you’re leaving those very same people that gave you such happiness now that you’re passing on

    Gershon Kingsley was born in 1922, October 28th, Germany.
    Today May 22nd, 2019, if there are no other news right now, Mr. Kingsley is still alive, respectfully 96 years old, or young!

    This is one of the few songs that make me feel a sense of wonder. It is also one of the few songs that I have discovered recently that I really really like. A masterpiece.

    This certainly floats my boat in many ways. Firstly i was born late 60's and secondly this is where trance music was born. Like people keep saying its way ahead of its time even in Dec 2019. So uplifting but not long enough. Oh well. Love it to bits. 😎👍😎👍

    When they said artists like Mozart were way ahead from thei era...so did this man. And after listening to this (is this really the original version?) we can confirm that , and now more than eve when it seems that we are going downhill way to fast

    Wow this is excellent. Now that I hear this I can't stand what Hot Butter did to this song. I always considered it a tacky song until I heard this.

      Well, if you heard the 1972 version of this song made by Gershon Kingsley and The First Moog Quartet (which became the template for Hot Butter's cover), then it would be no surprise for you :)

    The original version is a water theme. So crazy frog had a tribute to that. My favourite unoriginal versions I've heard so far are the Boomtang Boys microwave mix version (sounds a bit like Robert Miles) and M&H long version.

      The version you have in your memory was injected by the radio stations because it was commercial, the original was too incomprehensible to the ears of the common people, this one the original version is a million times better than the popular version of 72
