Bawumia should go and meet the press first. You and Nana Addo should organise meet the press and answer questions from them on the economy. Then Mahama can consider debating your failed, lazy, incompetent selves.

Bawumia is calling on H.E. John Dramani Mahama for a debate on the economy and governance. By the way, when is he going to provide solutions to the 170 questions on the economy that he requested from the late vice-president? Bawumia refused to debate Mahama prior to the 2016 elections. He told Mahama to go and debate the people of Ghana about the economy because that was where the real debate was. What has changed

Are we sure Dr. Bawumia is OK? Bawumia does not need a debate to tell Ghanaians what he can do, he has already shown us all his abilities.
Maybe Bawumia is an academia who memorizes economic theories for examination purposes. And such a person is empty and incapable of applying them to solve real problems. Therefore Bawumia will not make a good president but maybe good in the classroom lecturing.

Bawumia should first meet the media to account to Ghanaians on behalf of his government on cases of corruption, unfulfilled promises, mismanagement of the economy and failure to stabilise the cedi against the dollar before he even think of debating Mahama.
If he passes the text with the media then after that he can call for debate between Mahama.
