If you get the prepackaged dye you fill it up to the line indicated on the bottle :)
Have you seen those boxes of dye at Safeway? I think the brand is Rit and it comes in tab form, I've had good luck with them in the past.
If you don’t have the prefilled bottles, check out his description. He puts the measurements there.
