As someone who owns the Wandrd 31, I agree with every single criticism you have of the bag. The side camera access and the materials/look are the only things that keep me using it. The Langly and the Mindshift Backlight bags look like great alternatives and your reviews for those bags are very helpful. Thank you!
wandrd has camera cubes called "essential camera cubes" for purchased separately, and they look to be much thicker than the default ones, but maybe taking even more space.
My main problem is this..I have 3 kids, every time I do have to take with me clothes etc.Plus I do have a Dslr, a GoPro and a mirrorless and each time I choose 2/3 to take with my. Furthermore i go every day to school, as a teacher, with a laptop and small accessories and papers.so..I have 3 separate backpacks for each occasion and I would like a suggestion in combining all a my needs in 1 backpack. Now I have a small Tenba messenger bag for every day use ,a case logic for my work and laptop and an Amazon basics Dslr backpack for traveling with gear and some Clothes but not very happy with it..thnx in advance.Keep the quality Up
would either of these work for a 7 day trip, including camera (Olympus EM1 MKII), laptop, and clothes? do they fit in the overhead compartment of a plane? looking for an everyday bag that will work for travel and day hikes
Great review. Quick and to the point. I saw a previous video you had of the Langly. Does the Globetrotter have the same material as the Wandrd? Also which Globetrotter did you like? The Olive green or this one you reviewed?
Thanks for making this review! I think both are really good backpack. I personally prefer the design of Langly over Wandrd. They recently release Multi Camera bag - Globetrotter. Are you planning on doing a review for it? Would love to see a comparison of it to the Alpha Globetrotter!
First off I love your reviews. I have the pro tactic for 450 AW2. Considering its rigidness although I love it I don't think it works as an everyday bag as I hope it would. So I started looking at this backpack and In your opinion between the 31 or the 21 would you suggest that the 31 be good for everyday or should I go with the 21 ?
@@DesmondCheng I actually did purchase the 31L. I'm glad I did. The other bag on your review I just dont like design. It's very functional over the wandrd but I guess I have to use it more to see if it's as tedious for me Thanks again for the review.
Hey Desy, can you recommend me the best bag that I can switch to. I currently have to carry a Lowepro camera bag and my Tumi Messenger bag and lugging both is killing me. The gear I need to carry daily is the following. Laptop Gear: 2015 15" MacBook Pro, MacBook charger, 12.9" Ipad Pro w/ case, 12" Small Wacom Tablet, 1 small Seagate External Drive. Camera Gear: 5DIII w/ Grip, 50mm L w/ hood, 85mm f/1.8 w/ hood, 100mm L w/ hood, 24-70L w/ hood v1. I think the Langly Globetrotter might work but I'm not sure if it will fit my MacBook, Wacom, and Ipad in that slot. I need one bag that can carry all that. Any suggestions? (Thank you for the great videos and reviews, helps a lot.)
Desy Cheng Dude!!!! That bag is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Wow. Spot freaking on. Wow. Gonna sell my Thinktank Airport International V2 roller to get the Incase backpack. Thank you very much for the research.
If you mean the security of the camera cubes, they have fixed this now. Their new camera cubes are actually very rigid and padded now. Very nice but still a bit cramped for the size of the bag to be honest. Not too much of any issue for my small Fuji setup with 4 lenses (including big 50-140 2.8 zoom)
that i don't know! i havent brought it on a planet yet... but if u have the front top pouch filled then, definitely not. but if it was empty then maybe!

I'm also curious about the Alpha vs Multi
Would love to see you review the Wandrd Hexad Access Duffel with the camera cube option.
send me one and ill do it!
Hi Desy, I like very much The Langly Alpha Globetrotter, you think is to big for a small women's (1.53 high) ??
Yes it's a bit big unfortunately!!!

depends if u need to lug around a 15" laptop! for me I do, so I NEED the 31.

Try the new Incase Camera Pro pack! Its the bigger one and fits ALOT!!!

@@JDenim88 no problem! i just picked one up last month =) . It's great and fits a lot, but it's quite thick haha
How do you think the Alpha Globetrotter would do in downpours or persistent rain? I know it's billed as "waterproof", but I still have my doubts...
Hi Sam, yes it's extremely waterproof. I have the black one, and it's like a rubber shell almost. Water just beeds off it!
langly looks nice on the inside and prvke looks sexy on the outside haha. I wonder if the new prvke bags fixed the camera holding issues
i looked on their website and it doesnt look like they have an update to it. looks the same
Desy Cheng maybe they just changed the name tag on the bag. It’s stitched on now instead of the square looking thing

have you tried the brevite roll top? which one is more comfortable?
Unfortunately I have not tried it!
hi, do you know any camera backpack that can hold 17.3" laptop??
peak design travel backpack!
I have a question: the inner base of the compartment for the camera and lenses has a surface to adjust the velcro?
yes its all velcro =)
Does the Langley Alpha fit under the seat of the airplane?
that i don't know! i havent brought it on a planet yet... but if u have the front top pouch filled then, definitely not. but if it was empty then maybe!
