      Yeap, refresing to go to a city (Mashhad for me) and see such clean streets and no worries of being shot at or mugged at 11pm. Women walking alone at night alone, not being harassed, no cat calls etc. Totally refreshing. Do the same in downtown LA if you dare at 11pm.

      The news outlets always portrays nations they despise as evil, look at it this way, the US being the largest terrorist country in the World with military basis at over 80% of the Earth to occupy, invade and destroy to steal their gas and oil and other natural resources for their greedy needs/"interest" would always badmouth countries that stand-up to the bully. Look no further than their current asshole running the US. Its for this reason that the US is no longer the best country in the World, it is the worse in terms of health, education and economy, they are just good at building a stronger military to INVADE and OCCUPY under the guise of "freedom" fuck that.

      @@pedramzarei634 I wouldn't mind travelling to Iran to see it for myself and compare it to the lies and propaganda spouted by the Zionist-infiltrated US government (Israel's lapdog) and controlled mainstream media (lie machine) of the West. I do know hat Iran is famous for pistachio nuts, scorching hot summers and Persian rugs! I had a friend at university who was an international student; his home country was Iran. He was a likeable bloke. Unlike some people in Britain and the US, he never swore or used vulgar language in his everyday chit chat just to feel 'cool' or 'hip'.

    • @brookr.m8995
      @brookr.m8995 5 лет назад +21

      These places he is visiting aren’t really touristic. There are actually very awesome and beautiful towns in the south but not the ones he is visting. That’s why it seems new, strange and interesting. I mean he showed us asaluye... This is a town people go only to work in... they dont visit it as a tourist.
      And plus I have my reasons. It’s real expensive to travel in Iran. unless you have a relative living there to crash into their house. It may be cheap for foreigners but not for us. and for a girl its super dangerous to travel the way he does. And if you are a girl from an oldfasioned family you wont have much freedom to go whereever you want. He may say it’s safe terrorist wise, but any other way it’s not that safe specially these places he visits seem so scary.

    Another great video Nick. Been to Iran in October of 2017, it blew me away, amazing country and people, so I know how pleasantly delighted you are! I didn't visit the coast, it looks amazing, those coastal mountains are stunning! But I climbed the highest peak of Iran and highest volcano in Asia, Damavand 5671m, so I'm very happy with that :) Hope you will visit amazing cities of Shiraz and Isfahan, would love to see them again through your eyes. And of course, Persepolis is not to be missed. Coast of Caspian sea is also highly recommended, it is so different from the rest of Iran cause it is densely forested. And roads that lead from Tehran, over the Alborz range, towards Caspian sea are fantastic and scenery is dramatic. It is amazing when you cross from desert south side of the range to the northern forested side.

    Pictures you see like at 2:33 which are painted on walls, are called "Shahids" . They are iranian soldiers which were killed in war, like 8 year war with Iraq which was quite recently. Iran lost alot of good men in that war and their pictures and memories are combined with Iran spirit now. In Iranian culture and Islam religion, dying to protect your home and your identity is one of the greatest honors one can achive in life. Even after their death, their family get complete support throughout whole course of their life from government.
    Thought would be interesting to point that out, since they were in couple of your videos so far.

    These videos of Iran make me so emotional and happy. 3 years ago I travelled through Iran for a couple of weeks as a woman alone and it was my most beautiful trip ever. The friendships I made, the hospitality, the culture, the food. Travelling through Iran is incredibly easy (the trains and busses are super luxurious) and everyone wants to help you (without getting anything in return). With a bit of luck, I will go back to Iran in October and I can't wait. The people and the country are in my heart. Thank you for this beautiful report; everything you say is true and I hope that people will not let that stop them from travelling through Iran. It will be unforgettable no matter what.

    Thanks to your videos I’m planning on traveling to Iran within the next two years. If I didn’t already have a few trips planned and paid for I would be going to Iran like as soon as I could get through the visa process. The only down side for me as an America traveling to Iran is that I would need to join a guided tour which is a bit of a downer but hey it’s a small price to pay to visit such an amazing country.

      LE REDDIT COMMANDER That’s a real shame, because the ordinary citizens of Iran 🇮🇷 are anything but a pain in your ass! What amazing people, they are just victims of the system.

    • @amirtalachian
      @amirtalachian 5 лет назад +2

      The guided tour is just a formality. The tour guides are the same as other Iranian people and you'll find out that you can have much freedom to go anywhere you want to go and visit. The tour guides could also help you find what you cannot find if you would be a solo traveler (the Iranian underground life for example). Don't worry, if someone is not a spy, there are no worries even with the government. Iranian people and also the regime are more kind to foreigners and gusts than what they are to each other.

    I'm really enjoying this series on Iran Nick. My most favourite things about your videos are:
    1 Your interactions with locals
    2 when you visit markets
    3 when you visit places of historical significance
    4 when you show epic scenery, including drone footage
    5 when you give practical information about the places youre staying to inform others who may want to travel there.
    Hope this is helpful! x

    My parents were born in Iran and moved to California in the 1960’s. I have travelled to about 30 countries but unfortunately never been to Iran. Your videos have inspired me to travel there one day.
    Continue to give money to the people who help you. Times are hard for many Iranians.
    The Iranians have a culture and “Taroff” means they have to refuse several times in order to be polite. My Swedish husband finally understands my relatives and we have been married for 29 yrs.

    Mate, I just wanted to say thank you for these amazing videos! Iranian people are great hosts and never expect anything in return but having said that it's very nice and considerate of you to pay them a little money. After all you're not exploiting their kindness and generosity like some other tourists do unfortunately. Iran is currently going through very crazy times due to the imposed sanctions and this has crippled the economy which is being only felt by the average Joe's like Mohammad. Enjoy your amazing journey in the beautiful Iran!

    This entire series on Iran is one of the best things I've seen in a long time. Each video gets me at least a little choked up because of the overwhelming kindness of everyone. Iran wasn't even on my radar as a country to visit but in the past day it has easily become one of my top ten. Like, I will visit Iran within a few years. It''s now a mission of mine. Your videos are so inspiring. I'm reminded that the trips I've taken have been the best times of my life.
    P.S. It was awesome to find that you have a series on Macedonia as I plan to visit before the end of the year. Your channel is really important and one of my favorites on RUclips. Can't wait to see where you go next!

    Watching these beautiful lovely people makes me think about how we people live our lives in my country in The Netherlands. Thanks for doing this and sharing the story with the world, this really is such a good thing for people to see. I mean media is 99% negative news. This is pure and real. Good job!!!!This motivates me to go travel again. I once went to China Shanghai and got scammed in like 1 day. I thought I just had a tea with 2 teachers who were on a city trip but got scammed. This whole act took an hour or so, this really damaged my trust as I was getting really engaged with the 2 very kind ladies. They even showed me pictures of them standing with their schoolclass children. and couldn't enjoy traveling anymore as before. Your videos about Iran really show that people can actually be so super kind its touching my soul.
