Also alottt about gods and arbiters of where their soul goes and the two places are Heaven or hell. ITS A REALLY GOOD ANIME. after it I was freaking out cuz it had soooooooo much meaning about how to use ur life and about memories, and feelings people have no matter what
It translates pretty nicely. A lot of Japanese songs translated sound really weird but this one's good.

but the 1-1 translations rarely do so you need to find words that are close enuth this is to say nothing of words with no English counterparts
The only example of this I know of is how Hentai means pervert/perverted but ecchi has no English equivalent and is most accurately described as lighthearted perverseness. such situations result can be a nightmare to change

This anime is absolutely incredible. The writing, animation, voice acting, and plot is more then perfect to me. It saddens me that this anime doesn’t get the recognition it truly deserves. The whole story is so original and had me hooked to the point where i watched this whole anime in one day. Each persons story has so much depth and emotion to it. The story isn’t dragged out and there is never one boring scene. The chemistry between Decim and Chiyuki slowly growing stronger throughout the series really made me happy. Although I wish the side characters had more scenes it didn’t take away the greatness of this anime. And let’s just talk about the ending. The writer wrapped this anime up in such a beautiful way it drove me to tears. The meaning behind each character, game, story, and flashback was greatly written. I will never stop recommending this anime to fellow anime watchers. It deserves all the recognition it can get and more.

I agree with you although my friend doesn't really like this anime but he admits it has its good moments but I agree with you fully, this is really great. Emotion to the max and happy ending. I LOVE it! We should all just understand each other, have a BIG cry on each other and smile at Chiyuki and mean it. I truly love it. Truly.

That's because pretty much every country has very unique and descriptive words which you have to simplify for English. English sucks.
So many people are calling this op misleading but I seriously beg to differ. To me at least the Moral of the Story in Death Parade is that you must not waste your life and live it to the fullest no matter how short or painful it may be so when/if your in the afterlife and are being judged you will have no regrets. Everyone in the series who had a mental breakdown in Quindecim did so out of some form of guilt or regret while everyone who didn't have one didn't because they were mostly content with their lives. The cheery nature of Flyers symbolises this message of being happy and celebrating death due to being able to live a good life. It makes sense to me at least through an analytical lens, plus the song is catchy as fuck and I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Everyone says that the song its not accurate but guys the plot of hte show isnt just about death, live itself its too short and most people are more concerned about death than living their own lifes thats the meaning of this opening live your life the better way you can until die because life its unique and cant repeat or at least thats what I think and the judges that the bartenders put on the people its just a representation of what most people thoughts about death, like some kind of purgatory.

this OP fits the series so well - the general message and everything
I love how this cover managed to keep the original spirit and energy of the original song while adding it's own unique twist. It's hard to describe, but this cover has an almost gospel choir feeling to it not present in the original.
I imagine the original song playing at a hopping dance bar while your version of it being played at the best church sermon ever. I think it has something to do with you saying "Hallelujah" or the way some words in your cover is stretched out like when the female singer sang "tacky, lame & basic" she did a wonderful job of emphasizing basic. Or when you said "burn your dread," you do something amazing with your voice to emphasize burn. One of the best covers I've heard of pretty much any song.
