So I feel this way about my thighs. Haven’t worn shorts above the knee in 15years . But I bought short shorts for the summer and I’m gonna rock’em. I see woman that are my size or bigger (16) and I’m tired of feeling like a thigh outcast. So I’m bringing my thighs to the bbq all summer. Thank you for being the girl next door Nita.
Ok You better show them thighs, I feel the same way about mine, but remember we all have a right to live our life the way we want. I recently bought some shorts too, and I'm showing these thighs.

I lost 87 lbs and my arms are saggy and I have excess skin in my belly srea but I embrace it all! Yes one day I will have the body I want but until theeeen. I work with the body I have… I show up nothing less that fabulous lol

This was a great video. Our female family members can also use words under the guise of love that are hurtful and stick with you forever. Dress the body you have. If you like how something looks on someone else, understand that is you arent built like them, that outfit may not look the same on you
I'm still in the middle of this video but I have to comment you are so right those are what I call back handed compliments I had a 60th birthday photo shoot and someone commented on the few pictures I decided to post on my Facebook page, "you look good to be 60"🙄and also what you are saying about embracing the body we are in that's so on point, the month and a half before my photo shoot I was hellbent on losing 15 lbs and ended up gaining 25...but I love everything u wear and you are always gorgeous in everything you wear!

Hi Beautiful!! As far me and my confidence/embracing me: I found there is nothing more freeing & peaceful than loving me the exact way GOD designed me & not think I’m suppose to live up to anyones standards because that is pure misery for me!! I love my super dark skin, my cellulite, my gray hair, ( I started to gray in my early 30’s & if I dye my hair I realize I’m only postponing the inevitable & I’m cool w/it it’s just other ppl….🙄)….the only validation I need is from GOD!! At the end of the day whose standard of beauty are we trying to live up to anyways??

Nita! I needed this. Thank you for this girl chat. I ha e 1 year old triplets (5 kids altogether) and I have areas that I would like to improve on. However, like you said I want to enjoy the journey and step out without being over conscious about my weight.

I'm trying to loose weight, but in the meantime I will always dress like I'm my dream size. Nita it's funny that this is your topic because I tell myself all the time to love my body the way it is until I can change it I often try to cover up my arms during the summer but it's to hot and alot of times I can't loved the haul

I love this robe! If you're looking for a 14/16 then yes the orange shirt is sold out in that size but other sizes are available.

I don't feel like the "I love your confidence" expression is a back handed compliment. I take it as the person saying that most full figured women don't think high enough of themselves to wear what they want to wear regardless of what society thinks of their larger size.

Since I became plus size I heard that for the first time a few years ago, and I responded why do I have to have confidence to be myself. This is me. Do you not have confidence being who you are. So I know exactly how you feel. People need to understand what they are saying. Just say that person looks nice and move on.

Where did you get your strapless bra
Yes I never knew that my arms was Hugh for no good reason. Mainly because I was not big on pictures, cause I didn’t think I was pretty growing up. I mean actually ppl told me I was ugly. But now that I take pics cause apparently “I grew up to be a beautiful young lady” a backhanded compliment lol. I realize my arms are very unattractive. If I didn’t think I would die I’ll get surgery. Cause my waist thighs apparently my face are all fine too me. It’s these big mama arms tho. Lol SN: I never had any surgical work done to the rest of my body god just gave me bat arms 🤣

I started accepting myself when I did a boudoir photo shoot in 2017.
The pics were so gorgeous that it didn’t matter to me that I had rolls humps and anything else. Ever since I have been coming into my femininity and my sexuality. Loving self is a daily task. Not everyday is a good one but I’m proud of being a BBW.
I loved all the outfits. That little boy may have liked you. Little boys are the worst when they like little girls. The boys are the worst when they so call like you especially at that age. Man I got talked about bad through grade school. Everyone of those boys had a crush on me I found out later in life. Love you girl. We are beautiful!
