Igor Cedic,....I salute you sir...a win-win-win....not many men in this world have accomplished 1/10th as much sir...I wish I could purchase a franchise in the US and adopt your methods and keep things growing here....we commonly use asphalt shingles...very weak..."5-Tab shingles may last only 25 years"...that's preposterous....hope this comes to the USA
Making a more durable roof using recycled plastic is not only what the planet needs but might be the solution to all the plastic strewn everywhere in all countries. Pure genius!
I hope this business is successful! Anything to clean up environment. Not worried about this invention polluting the environment compared to Big Business dirty methods. This is fantastic use of discarded plastics!! :-)
awesome product. I have been a salesman for 30 years who is taking it easier now but would gladly sell this for you. it's a great product which deals with a major issue of plastic pollution too.
Brilliant concept gentlemen and great to see someone finally using the plastics the world throws out every day, I would like to sell your products in UK please get in touch,
I would be interested in plastic roofing tiles. The fiberglass tar blend one now offered can't withstand hail or high winds. And as far as the house burning up scenarios, most houses burn from the inside outwards. Leaving the roof last to collapse. I believe there's a higher risk of damage to your home by storms than by wildfires. At least in my Country!
if you mix certain. elements like graphene. and carbon layers your tiles will power your house with electricity. its a collector and a battery all in one roof tiles check R Robert Murray videos he has the info
Hi Denis the technology is wonderful. Nigeria has waste plastic in abundance and it will be worth establishing the plant here. I will like to know more on how to establish the factory in Nigeria. Thanks.
Dear denis please send me the details of the machine with production capacity and the ratios in which we can use the raw materials. Also send me the detailed quotation with poer load required. Thanks
+Lalo Martin The plastic tile can be cut with electric disk saw. For small amounts hand hacksaw for metal can be used. It is less fragile, than regular clay or cement tiles .
fantastic solution to take care of the world plastic bottle problem but I have concerns. is safe to collect rainwater is fireproof how long it lasts UV proof all these topics most be address but I love it in my opinion is the future
Ive just watched your video Wow! Well done in finding the staff engineers and other. Would you be able to make 110mm pipes for drainage. Please get in touch
hi is it condition to clean the plastic i notice there is apump full of water in the compressor is it true why is it for cold the mixture after compressing thanks
That is very fascinanting product.Have you ever thought of making bath tubs, sinks, and under ground waste pipe disposal systems using the same technology?
chuggles03 uhh you mean leach? "Bleach" is a chlorine based disinfectant, "leach" is something completely different.... 1st of all, go back to school, 2nd of all, these tiles are made from products that you use on a daily basis like cold drink bottles, TV casings, food packaging and so on... its plastics that you come into physical contact with daily and ur worried about rain water? Buddy you lack education and/or a brain
Hi Denis, This is Kibriya,Thats a great job for saving our earth, can i establish in BANGLADESH ? If yes, how could you help by a cordial advice or suggestion ?
I'm interested in this eco friendly machine and the concept .. I'm from Nepal I can see the great possibilities of this concept in my place I'm curious about how can I get this machine in my place and what would be the approximate price of finished product ? do you have a website or any contact details so that I could know more about this machine and to see what else can we make from this machine . I'm hoping for your reply very soon
is there a variation of tile 'styles'? not every house wants a 'clay tile' style.. a 'shake' or 'shingle' style would probably use less material and provide a different look
elHippieSupremo the pigment part. Earth pigments - red oxide and ocre-are a good protection against the sun's actinic rays. Otherwise the plastic would degrade.
it wont have much stress on it anyway, ceramic roof tiles dont break often either and they are very brittle, plus additives could be added, modern windows are upvc (plastic) and have no issues with UV
This tech isn't new. It simply did not get any movement in the US due to petroleum dominance. Plastic being a petroleum product, the oyl barons have their say so on what gets made and what does not. The combination of styrene and linear plastic is a great combination of strength and durability. Tensile strength of one inch thick tiles with a quartzite sand additive as road building materials would be longer lasting and much more inexpensive than tar or cement. God forbid that would ever happen. All the toxic corporations might loose a dime. Recycling is repulsive to wasteful corporations intent upon creating debt and lack.
Larry Lund , Now a days plastic scrape is also getting price, The cheaper manufacturing concept will die sooner, This project will not last more, But plastic recycling to granuals have better future
Have you figured out how much energy it takes to melt plastic and then shape it into tiles? By the time it is shredded, heated and reshaped into a new product it is not "GREEN" anymore. A little GREEN in his pocket, though!
hi you put hard plastic and soft plastic with sand and color inside the screw machine then by atempereture of 200 celceus the plastic melt and it is blend with sand is it correct or not if it is not i want the whole process what is the ratio of hard soft plastic and sand is it condition to clean the plastic before we use it is it condition to make the mixture cold after compressing it thanks
good idea did it in SA lost a ot of monies buying equipment, but found equipment manufacturing ratio is to slow to become sustainable also any plastic cant be used and has to be certain types which recyclables are competing with therefore price becomes a problem. Also getting it thru building standards is a huge problem to get Agrement approved due to fire laws in roofs
Dear denis please send me the details of the machine with production capacity and the ratios in which we can use the raw materials. Also send me the detailed quotation with poer load required.
Throughout North America, Canada and other countries asphalt sheet and shingles are used. These are flammable, and they are short lived. Cedar wood shingles are also used in many countries, and in any case, once the (generally timber) structure of a roof has burnt through, there's little to be saved. (and all the plastics contained within the house have burnt, anyway) We're better to have the plastic on our roofs than on our beaches, it dawns on me.
Anyone considering this type of product has never witnessed burning plastic, take a very small piece of styrofoam packing or a small piece of plastic bottle and place it in your wood stove I promise you will be frightened by how violently it burns !
Plastics are oil based they hold much more energy than anyone could imagine, once a fire like that starts it can't be extinguished by traditional means, it has to burn off all it's energy.
And you can be absolutely sure that the Ukrainian Directors of this company will be making a bit more than the English guys, they always look for a quick buck at the expense of the foreign investors. Ten years in Kiev opened my eyes to this.

Interesting use of a thrown away material Denis and certainly gives one hope for the future.
Thanks for posting this.

Hey buddy. Still interested in supplying these tiles in the UK? Get in touch. We also produce them in Kenya. Email : kevin_mureithi@yahoo.com
Nice concept. I wonder how this product can be recycled at the end of its life cycle. I don't see how this mixture can be separated.

Very nice idea. I am curious though, is it fire resistant?
I think that they are fire resistent. The plastic is only 30%!

Wow- this seems like a great idea!
How durable after long-term exposure to the sun's UV rays? I've got a spot on my house that would be perfect for this.
My roof is like this. But the only problem, tiles are rather heavy. But looks cool.
They should have the idea into making thin designed clear plastic wall & ceiling tiles to put inside the bathroom to prevent hard water stains.
Dear denis please send me the details of the machine with production capacity and the ratios in which we can use the raw materials.
Also send me the detailed quotation with poer load required. Thanks
javed if you melt the plastic and mix it with equal proportion of sand it will last many years and stand all temperature
Brilliant!
Great idea for reusing plastic. What kind of saw do you use to cut the tile, in corners for instance?
+Lalo Martin The plastic tile can be cut with electric disk saw. For small amounts hand hacksaw for metal can be used. It is less fragile, than regular clay or cement tiles .

we need to buy /get a recycled plastic rooftilemaschine here in jamaica but how to start need more infos
Many countries collect the rainwater. My concern would be the chemicals that will bleach from the plastic over time.
+chuggles03 The product is certified and approved for outdoor use. In case of indoor use, there should be good ventilation.

Hi Denis, may pls I get some details about the company, machine, production capacity and who should I contact if possible? Thanks in advanceal

Sir,
Is the plastics that is extruded and dried behave ductile or brittle while granulating them?
How can I get more information to so that I can duplicate this in my region? thanks for your help
Add lotus texture to moulds. Use high pressure.
The water will shed better.
is there a variation of tile 'styles'? not every house wants a 'clay tile' style.. a 'shake' or 'shingle' style would probably use less material and provide a different look
Did they mention anything about UV resistance?
elHippieSupremo the pigment part. Earth pigments - red oxide and ocre-are a good protection against the sun's actinic rays. Otherwise the plastic would degrade.
yeah.. but is the plastic that bonds it together UV resistant.. kind of important.
it wont have much stress on it anyway, ceramic roof tiles dont break often either and they are very brittle, plus additives could be added, modern windows are upvc (plastic) and have no issues with UV

Geopolymer tiles ftw
Have you figured out how much energy it takes to melt plastic and then shape it into tiles? By the time it is shredded, heated and reshaped into a new product it is not "GREEN" anymore. A little GREEN in his pocket, though!
Thank you for your comment. Can you offer plastic recycling technology without using energy?
we need the national guard to clean up the garbage patch and the bomb makers to have a side project of making roof tiles like this.

Could the sand filler be replaced with waste builders' rubble?
No, it couldn't. But you can try to grind it to sand-like state, may be it will work.
the builders' rubble is different all the time... Unless you separate the "ingredients" it's hard to get a constant quality of the final product
Dear sir can we make the floor tiles also of sand and plastic
Yes, sure.
Dear denis please send me the details of the machine with production capacity and the ratios in which we can use the raw materials.
Also send me the detailed quotation with poer load required.
how does it stand up to fire?
😳 good question
It burns, please do not build a campfire on a plastic roof.

Because it is plastic and most plastic burns. Are you saying it will not burn?
Plastics are oil based they hold much more energy than anyone could imagine, once a fire like that starts it can't be extinguished by traditional means, it has to burn off all it's energy.
Or you can add some "special" chemicals to the bloody plastic, to make it fucking fire-resistant !.... !!!
