The due care being done on this budget camper I wouldn’t be surprised if it would put to shame the due care that’s done on campers worth 80k - 120k. Anyone ending up buying this camper will have the buy of the century. Awesome work stu very impressed. 🙂👍

The way to tell if you aren't sure about the temperature sensor, is once it's connected electrically is to check the dashboard display and look to see if the temperature figure is being displayed (ie 18 deg ) if it blank then its likely it doesn't have a sensor. As you pointed out when you took the O/S mirror out the box a small dome was visible protruding out the drain hole. Without the sensor you will have fault's showing on the dashboard display. The window has completely transformed the van already. Terrific job 👍

@@VanologyConversions you'd have gone bonkers at mine. Got a message from my friend who said to check my wiring as shed had hers done by the same bloke and at a music festival, she put her microwave on and the wiring set alight. They managed to put the fire out but it caused a lot of damage to her van. She took it elsewhere to be checked and he'd literally used 13 amp cable from a house, no fuses etc and everything spliced into one cable. I removed the panels from my van and found he'd done exactly the same. Not oy that, the dometic burners on the sink had been connected with orange rubber pipe which touched the burners. I literally at 2 in the morning ripped out all the electrics he'd bodged and the following days, everything else came out. Using your previous build vidios of vangelis and Greg Virgoe vids I've redone viv myself so paid twice as much as if I'd got top class work done from a converter like you. At least the owner of the van you are converting when they buy it will have the security in knowing it was built with skill and love by a good man. You can build my next one! Much respect - Kenny

Looking forward to seeing yours all done and onto the next one. I'm liking that Anthracite carpeted roof. Was going to add a few battens too mine and some strip LEDs just for a feature. I'll see how I get on. Working full time it's just getting on it with my spare time. I can't remember but did you just screw your ply strips for the framing or rivnut them in places? I'm hoping to sit my bed further back into the back doors because the shower trays I've seen will over hang my window the same side you've got yours. Not seen anything yet but I know it can be done. I really liked the tanking of your shower room.. I wanna get a fixed casette toilet in there aswell and withdraw the cassette from under the bed or into the walk way between the shower room and kitchen cabinets.
Love the way you crack on very organised and professional. I think I've learnt more in your intense build videos then I have from anyone else. It's good for me because im fairly handy but this will be the 1st time I've converted a van to a camper so all a learning curve.

Thanks mate, I didn’t want it to be a how to series but I think I got the balance just right. One thing I hated on my crafter conversion was not being able to get to the habitation area from the cab and as this van is a 2 berth then made sense to put two singles up front to allow the pass through, ultimately I think it would be more desirable for someone looking for a 2 berth van 👍🏻
