  • Communities up and down Maine's coast are now dealing with the latest storm damage.
    Buildings, beaches and areas that have survived countless storms over the years didn't survive this one with its record tide.
    The storm surge on Bailey Island destroyed a pier and a boat house that had just been restored a year ago.

    We also lost alot of traps also. Every trap in the water mangled or lost altogether. This was an expensive hit. Alot of damages

      Yes, things are going to get worse. It's going to be irreversible soon. Definitely weather changes, but climate can be somewhat predictable. Things are not what they were, and people will die and lose livelihoods.
