I think the photo says everything. Having to take your eyes off what's ahead of you in order to operate a touch-screen HMI. On my car the instrument panel is right in front of me and I can operate all essential functions without taking my hands off the wheel.

when is Model 3 highlander be available for order? if I place my order of Model 3 after Jan 1, do you think i will be guaranteed for a refresh highlander version? thanks
Model 3 and Model 3 Highland is different version. Right now Highland only available mostly in China. You currently can't order Model 3 Highland on Tesla official ordering page and Tesla hasn't updated the times that Highland will come to US. Regard.

Franz and Lar Moravy said they has plan to make 48v to their later car. I don't remember exactly where they said it, but it's in one of Jay Leno video, maybe the one about Semi or Cybertruck.
@@adamtech999 They are referencing the $25k car which is going to be made initially in Texas the Mexico. When Model 3/Model Y are replaced in say 3 years time then they will switch to 48v. They will not do it duting a mid-term refresh, they didnt do it with Highland and they will not do it with Juniper (which is due in less than 6 months).
Still lacking HUD, driver's screen, and buttons and switches, few interior and exterior color choices, no shade for the sunroof, no solar charging on the roof, still will be hard to tell from the 3 exterior, and getting rid of stalks is just dumb. I hope the build quality improves from dead last rankings, the ride gets smoother, and the rattles end. I would imagine the price will once again get jacked up, perhaps into the $60k stratosphere. Where, oh where is the affordable everyman's Tesla, Elon?
Still doesn’t need a HUD, not even a front display on the Cybertruck much less a HUD, software is for the main display . Been a 3 year Model 3 owner, still don’t feel the need for a front display or a HUD. Plus so many aftermarket HUDs available ….
Tesla want to achieve minimalist in their later model, so I don't think they will update the HUD. About the price, of course, it will raise. Model Y now is $47,000, we expect it will get to $55,000 or maybe $60,000 in 2024 due to inflation, material cost, new technology and so on. If you want much more affordable car, Model 2 will be good option
You can get a Tesla for about $30-35k with incentives. And you will get all the latest safety features, and its the safest cars on the road based on Euro NCAP ratings. Best software features of any car. It's the best bang for your buck currently by a big margin.
My guess is the y will take one step forward with improvements and a step back with removing the stalks. The price may go up a little but not a lot as it needs to be a good value to sell at high volume. Minimalism is about being cheaper to manufacture.

Instead of looking down, you look just a bit to the right and down. It's not actually much different when you're used to it after 5 minutes.

I think the new model y will be end of 2024 available so until then there will be a lot of videos: this is or it will be the new Tesla model Y 😊
If what Forbes said is correct, Model Y Juniper will go into production in October 2024. We'll update the lastest new about it to you.
I tried to buy one but they changed my trade in value when I went in to sign! Very sketchy
Did you order it on Tesla website?

Whats the difference between model y 23 and 24😂😂
To summary, it has better performance, go along with some interior change.
And more expensive:)
@adamtech999 what... they literally dropped the price by 6%. I checked.. after Dec 31st the price dropped. But the car looks excatly the same

Yes, it'll available in late 2024, based on insight from Forbes.
No chance the next Model Y will be 48v
