I regret that I didn't make more effort to see Bill live when I was in Boston over 30 years ago, just out of this world. Kudos to the young bass player as well, you're amazing 👏.
This just proves you don’t have to play loud to sound impressive Bill has all the tools necessary to play very unique one of a kind an obvious master on guitar and it it looks like he pretty much plays with no effects other than some pedals it’s all in his fingers class act here!
Jim Hall will be smiling from above - or wherever !
I THOUGHT JIM WAS AN ATHEIST?
Jim Hall but also some bluegrass and some fingerpicking. This guy has really the American Guitar under control! ❤
Brilliant shining light, pure geniuses of music. One of Bill's greatest duets =)

Thomas Morgan is his name, guy's a beast!
I just discovered Lage and Frisell. Went over and opened my D-28 from 40 years ago. This could turn out very, very bad.
The best art is the art that inspires us to do! Whip that bad boy out and suck, cuz we're glorious in our suckitude if were trying, cheers!
Lage and Frisell have completely changed my thinking of guitar playing! So inspiring and exciting
I bet it turned out very, very good!
Can you hear the 'drummer' that Thomas has created (here) with his playing?
Genius
I´m the average metal guy who thinks this is from outer planet. How could this be done not by mistake but true talent!
Amatories!!!!!!!
This Bassplayer literally became Frisell during the collaboration
That's dedication
Is that the Ortobotanico in Padova???? I was there and since then Bill is my reference on guitar playing.... thanks a lot.
After a minute, he starts to sound like an organist. Ask, me if anyone is surprised. Not Frisell fans.
Leave it to Bill Frisell to give us a new take on something old.

Clayton Gillaspy Actually, the great man may possess more effects than any other jazz guitarist. They do help him to achieve the “mystical” effect.
