Islamic Enghelab Square is a square in the 11th district of Tehran, which is located at the intersection of Islamic Revolution, Kargar and Azadi streets. This square is one of the main squares of Tehran.

Due to the centrality of this square, as well as the possibility of access to other areas of the city, many people pass through this square every day. This square is the cultural heart of the capital due to its proximity to Tehran University and the presence of most bookstores and publications around it. Various cultural centers such as publishing houses, translation centers, entrance exam and language schools, and cultural product stores can be seen in this square. In addition to these, Bahman Cinema is in the northeast of the square, Central Cinemas, Shahr Tamasha and Pars are in the southwest of the square. Also, on the north and south sides of the square, there are many dining halls and shops selling sandwiches and other prepared foods. The Revolution Square was one of the important and sensitive areas in the marches before and after the 1357 revolution, and it has a special identity in the historical memory of Tehranis and even the entire people of Iran. Before the revolution of 1357, this square was called 24 Esfand, which was equal to the birthday of Reza Shah, on this occasion, a statue of Reza Shah was erected in the middle of this square. For this reason, this square was also called the statue square. During the revolution, the name of this square was changed to Enghelab Square from 24 March and its statue was also pulled down.
