The monkey could be relaxed because there is another monkey present and it is most likely telling the baby that it is alright or what to do. Not all people who have pet monkeys are scammers. However, it is always good to be cautious.

My guess is that it will all depend on Linda's behavior. If she keeps being submissive I think she will keep her. Monkeys change when their hormones become active and most of them become difficult to manage and sometimes aggressive.

We no longer keep rodents, because one of our cats can even break into a bank safe if there is food there. The cage with the rat will definitely break overnight. Now we have a dog and cats. There is also a herring gull. She no longer lives with us, but flies every year in mid-summer or early August to show her new chicks. She had to be taken home as a chick, because she left her parents' nest and animal protection organizations did not want to accept her. Then she fledged, grew up and flew away, but still visits us.

If the baby is reaching for Linda’s milk, that should tell you something that she is hungry and wants her own milk in the bottle.
Sadly they want to keep them on the edge of starvation because it slows their growth meaning they remain small and 'cute'. This allows them to benefit from these exploitative videos for the maximum amount of time.
Linda seems genuinely interested in baby Puka. That's a good sign. Puka also seems to be quite OK although it's too early to tell. I've seen a few baby monkeys turn out to have mental issues such as depression, despair, and become aggressive and anti-social a few days after being bought from the market by their seemingly kind rescuers.

You are so good with those babies. I feel so bad for that little one that lost her finger, she must be in so much pain. It's crazy that a baby monkey can take to a human so fast, especially after most likely being abused by its seller with that finger. she just lets you put a diaper on her with no problem, and then just leaves it on. I always wanted one, but it's very hard to get any kind of monkey, let alone a capuchin monkey here in NY, or anywhere in the US.
Lady you need to take that baby to a doctor. If you really paid that money. Part of the responsibility is to keep him healthy. Would be a shame that he would die only because he didn't have an antibiotic. Do the right thing an get medical attention for him.
