      Grey-man I don't really get you, there are proper complex algorithms that you almost definitely never figure out intuitively for F2L, most F2L stuff is little tricks and being clever, but there are complex algorithms for cases that would take much longer doing intuitively.

      Example solves are for experienced or intermediate cubers that are trying to break bad habits. Use an actual tutorial because Feliks's solves are too fast to be used as a tutorial. I personally prefer this website:www.rubiksplace.com/speedcubing/guide/
      EDIT: If you're asking what his solving style is maybe try slowing down the playback speed.

    • @sivad1025

    • @zorm_
      @zorm_ 10 лет назад +2

      Ikr, I've seen some example solves where the whole F2L is made in 6-7 seconds, and OLL+PLL takes only 2 seconds
      But I want to be able first to do the F2L from fridrich, and the last layer from beginner method

    • @sivad1025
      @sivad1025 10 лет назад +4

      Also, you don't necessarily need to know all PLL and OLL because-especially for OLL- there are a lot of cases where you can just use two easy algorithms.

      wow- this guy is fast

    • @popcorny007
      @popcorny007 9 лет назад +14

      So.
      Imagine you have a pair, and you can insert it by going U R U' R'.
      A sledge hammer is going R' F R F' instead.
      Each Trigger (U R U' R' or R' F R F') is useful for different things, like if you're on your last pair, and you have zero edges facing up for OLL, you can do a sledgehammer instead of a standard insert (U R U' R'), and you'll have oriented 2 OLL edges, making OLL easier.

      If you were color blind, cubing is not for you.

      Well, I know tehcubedude is color blind, but he still cubes, he's actually very good at it, I'm colorblind, but not as severe as most other people

      Kevin Li Mats Valk is also somewhat color-blind and this might be the reason why he is not color neutral but prefers blue and green as his down/up face.

    Could you make a video about how to get faster at the cross? :) You did make a video about the cross but I would really like a new one :) It would be very useful...
    I'm struggling with it and try to improve it but it just doesn't work :p
    6-8 seconds to make a cross is just bad :D F2L is better though :p
    Really like your video's & keep up the awesome work!
    You're the Usain Bolt of the cubers ;)

    For Scramble 4 there is a much easier extended cross (Kind of long but no rotations and along with another paired already solved ready to be inserted).
    Here it is:
    Facing green side with Yellow up.
    R F' L F U F2 D' R D U R2 this cross also gives you an easy first pair as it is already solved leaving you with a cube rotation then insert.

    I see hes making use of his fingers awkwardly in order to avoid regrips. For example doing a U with the left index. Feels awkward but once you got it down it should be a killer time saver! Currently reinventing my F2L, hope it makes me faster in the long run. Always good to see a pro doing what I'm starting to learn so I know its gonna pay off. Starting to do One-Handed solving aswell, which definitely helps making use of the fingers you have.
