This is the one song that cries out for a full band. The unplugged thing doesn't work here. And make no mistake it's one of the greatest songs in rock and roll.
Agree. When I booked this cruise and watched videos of Justin's band, I was a little bummed out that it was not a full band. This song really rocks with a full band, as do several other MB songs.
No idea but I am assuming it is someone who just played with Justin's band during the cruise performance. There is no mention of him on Justin's website as a member of his touring band.
@@oldwiguymusic Just saw them play last night in Sacramento. There was a third musician who joined for a few songs. I missed the name perhaps Josh Johnson? He plays quite a large guitar ... also, Karmen has two instruments. One is her regular flute the other is twice as long (bass flute?)
I'm guessing it was an excellent show. I loved seeing Justin and his band. Yet, a small part of me flashes back to seeing the Moody Blues multiple times and how great those shows were at the time.
For a professional musician who has performed for decades, I am guessing that could be when they take their last breath or when literally no one shows up to see them in concert. Most will keep playing as long as fans keep going.
Still a vert viable artist.. let’s face it. He’s truly one of the greats.. awesome songwriter.. totally identifiable voice.. total musical royalty.. I’m sure he’s proud enough to know when he doesn’t have it anymore.. and he still does for his age.. and he’s smart to surround himself with younger musicians who bring a good energy. my question is for all that he’s been through and has done. Does he really need to do a music cruise?… the only answer is is that he still loves to perform and he wants to be out there.. cause he needs the money.. He managed his career very poorly… I think he still wants to do it. That’s why he’s here…
Justin hayward is one of the best songwriters on the planet 👏 🙌
The MB song I first noticed back in the day. Within two months, I bought all six of their albums at the time. His voice is still good.
I was at that concert, it was amazing! Justin is still a great performer.
Love you Justin! ❤
Thank you always for love and support ❤...
Great song, thanks for sharing the video!

Nice to see Karmen doing vocals, too. Adfitional guitarist allows Justin to do his electric " thing".
Is that Justin's guitar tec playing the bass?
Yep, he was with him at Darlington last night. His name is josh.
Who is the new guitarist back by Julie?

He's playing an acoustic bass whoever it is.
Sometimes you just have to know when to hang up your guitar ......

So are you saying he is past it? Perhaps you are nit really a fan
