check out the how it's made episode on this. it goes into soo much more detail. it's on RUclips. type "how it's made decorative candles" or something like that
I bought one for my grandmother when I went on holiday to Spain (those candle making shops are basically EVERYWHERE there) and she just had it as decoration in her house. We lit it on top of her coffin when she died back in 2015.
What he said :). Also the candle interior is made of a "hard wax" which melts more slowly and won't cave in as it melts down. That way the candle retains it's shape for longer, and you get longer burn and enjoyment time :)
True story- I once rented a room in a house near the University of Washington. Another person rented a room downstairs. She thought it was a good idea to let a homeless guy sleep there for a while. Homeless guy was about two things- He was overjoyed that "ICE" beer would be coming out, and he could get high percentage beer for really cheap. He was also about making candles in the basement. It was a good thing I moved, because he burned down the house.
Hydra and he has all the right to because he is his own person, believe it or not he’s human and has free will and is also protected by the first amendment, so, in other words... stop being such a bi*ch, he did literally nothing against you. *Why are you so offended*
WOWWWW THESE ARE ABSOLUTELY FREAKIN GORGEOUS!!!!!! YES, NEED A BETTER EXTENDED VERSION!!!! ID LOVE TO WATCH EXACTLY HOW THEY MAKE THEM & CUT N SHAPE THEM!!!! BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!
This candleshop is near buck hill in the poconos, PA. It is one of the neatest places ever. There are a treasure trove of hidden candle shops in the poconos, definitely worth a visit! If I remember right this shop is multiple levels and you can watch them dip candles everyday!
I see I am not alone in my feelings of serious admiration of these candles and the process of making them. I SO SO SOOOO very much wish I could work at a place like this or even open my own shop. I think I have just found a craft I would love to spend the rest of my life doing. I just love crafty things like this. I am mostly disabled, but still unable to stop working as I have no one who could help support me financially while I wait for the ridiculous government to decide that I AM entitled to the money I have had taken out of my paychecks and put toward social security for so damn long. I ride nearly 20 miles every day on my bicycle to get to and from work. I take care of elderly disabled folks, Alzheimer's patients mostly. I absolutely love what I do, but it just kills my already broken body. Siiiighhhh At least I have found a sort of inspiration for what I would enjoy doing if I was ever given the opportunity! 😀 This video was just beautiful and I thank the owner of this candle shop for sharing their skills with the world. If ever you need a set of extra hands there's a woman in Alabama that would love to help out, lol. 😛 My email is margaret.foster07@yahoo.com
I am very interested in learning this. I would love someone to teach me. I know nothing about it and I just saw this video and it made all my worries go away.
Someone should open a donor yourself place. Pick a candle and start dipping. Print out instructions and have people there to assist. It would be awesome.
i NEED an extended cut of this, like the ceramic stonedmode. i would give you 1000 views on it, just on my own.
nutface seriously... why did you feel the need to comment that. if you have nothing nice to say keep your mouth shut. 😑
This is why children should be supervised online.
NUT FACE your obviously quite intelligent and respectful. 😒

Seriously tho same
Do people buy those to burn them? I don't think I'd have it in me to melt a candle that awesome.
I thought the same thing. They're too pretty to burn.
Little battery-powered LED tea lights are the solution.
well most of them have a well cut inside so they don't mess up the design on the outside so I say it should be fine to light them up

No you don't burn candles like these! Purely for aesthetic and a "wow" piece!
I'd never burn one of those it'd be some kind of sacrilege
They have a little reservoir in the middle so the cool shit doesn't melt or get wax all over it
What he said :). Also the candle interior is made of a "hard wax" which melts more slowly and won't cave in as it melts down. That way the candle retains it's shape for longer, and you get longer burn and enjoyment time :)
Just bought one. They have a option to put a hole in the middle and place an battery candle in the center

homeless people break into my apartment building and shit n piss in the stairways even though there is a public bathroom in the lobby
lol, sounds like you live in a shitty place. Maybe you need to move.
high key why would you live in the u district on purpose in general tho...
This made me laugh hysterically
It's a good idea to be near the university if you want to get to class on time?
Bath and body works is SHOOK
This makes me want to drop out of school and become a candle maker.
I didn't know people did things like that, it's really beautiful
i wouldn't mind getting paid to do this
I found a great tutorial online for making candles: HootCandle.club
I recommend you check it out.
This is oddly satisfying
Hydra he's stupid for saying that? nice logic there
