Finally, we have reached Omen of the Stars, and we begin with a book that I genuinely really like, even if, in hindsight, there are things I know wouldn’t be followed through on and other things from Power of Three that were dropped rather than addressed. I do like the story for what it is, and it’s one of the books less remembered and brought up by most fans, so it definitely deserves a second look.

I remember disliking Dovepaw in this book ONLY because she "replaced" Hollyleaf. Maturing is realizing that the poor kid had no choice in the matter and was forced into a role she didn't want. Dovewing's still not my fav, but I definitely love her so much more now!

I really loved how dovepaw was shown to struggle with the burden of the prophecy, and a lot of her behaviour in the earlier books reminds me of stuff present in gifted kid syndrome XD
I thought the music was weirdly loud before. Thanks for the new version

I happen to have just finished the book only DAYS before this came out 🤯
1:45 - 2:09 Note: in the book I got from my library (it has the old cover) in the allegiances it had Millie’s kits be warrior. Blossomfall, briar light and bumbleflight. No that was not a miss type it actually had bumbleflight instead of bumblestripe. This might have meant that the Erin’s meant for bumblestripe to be called bumbleflight before changing it. However in the book they are apprentices but after they become warriors blossomfall is called blossompaw if I remember correctly. So maybe they made them warriors then changed it mid book and accidentally changed one they didn’t mean to. So ya wanted to say that cuz I haven’t seen anyone else mention it.
My very first Warriors book! I was enthralled by the cover when it was a brand new release. Quite the weird spot to jump in but it was a lot of fun!
