From now on, the word "spoilers' can only be heard in River Songs voice. Steven Moffat wrote River Song brilliantly, but how Alex Kingston portrayed her, made River an icon. I've typed here so much comments about this episode and about River but I had to delete them all because *spoilers* (did you hear it?) Once on a camping trip, friends of my son - who watched this episode too - kept stomping around at night, stating that one sentence over and over again: "hey, who turned out the lights?!!!" They kept doing that the whole summer on the most unexpected moments, creepy. It's clear how invested you both were in this episode, but then again, Steven Moffat knows how to steal your attention, he preys on it. Can't wait for Wednesday.
Scary 2 part episode. After watching it for the 1st time, I literally was scared of the darkness thinking that there would really be something invisible and deadly in the shadows. I was around 13 years old when the episode aired so surely many kids would've been scared at that age. Wonder how many people fear the shadows after watching these 2 episodes for the 1st time.
I remember when I first watched this 2 parter, for weeks after anytime that I walked home from a neighbors house after dark, I counted my shadow the entire way as they moved with each lamp post. Was absolutely terrified.
im glad u got the therapist from ted lasso, except for me it was the opposite. when i watched ted lasso i was like "oh shit creedy head thing from doctor who!"
“Hey, who turned out the lights? “ This Iconic line is just as haunting as “Are you my mummy?”
The boys "shes not a normal person"

Moffat: ''I wonder Who she might be;)''

I would not say its my most favorite 2 parter, but its the best introduction of a recurring character in the future of the series.

Now is when it starts getting really good. Glad the reactions are more regular, I might live long enough for you to catch up. Go Angels.
They literally say "Donna Noble has been saved" what makes you think she is dead
Talulah Riley who played Miss Evangelista was married to Elon Musk........ twice.

Balance in the Library :)
Spoilers, sweetie
long before the Americans started bombarding us with nonsense about "strong female characters", this series presented us with plenty of such.
So, they have a guy who does spoilers on staff?
Is this something he does or was this just about this episode?
I’m confused, what was spoiled?
