You gotta be kidding me. My dream truck in the right year and all. This is awesome. I’ll never be able to have one but it’s cool to see
Man, it's gotta be fun working for this guy. I'm learning so much watching his videos. Great job guys, keep it up.
Joey is a straight up Picasso when it comes to building these motors!
Condition, cause, correct, confirm 💯
wow this is great i drive a 04 5.9 loved the rebuild. I will watch out for cylinder #6. coolant always seems to go down a bit you can notice it is low when the temperature swings from 200 to 210
Just want to say thanks, I’m sure you get it all the time for fixing people’s vehicles! I’m saying thanks for the 4 C’s. I’m no mechanic by trade just a facility manager and I approach every problem with that mind set. Condition, cause, correction, confirm, has dramatically changed my efficiency. Thank you.
That’s awesome
And I must say, kudos to you for seeking to grow and progress. That's all you 👍

Wow. These guys are amazing. I'm lucky I can change my oil. Thanks Dave.
I was doing that toooo much, and I was just totally taking the spirit out of the guys. Nobody likes to be criticized and yet you do it. Great advice for parents and bosses. We always learn something new every day.
Dave, you have a bad ass shop, bad ass mechanics that does rebuilds, but your machinist is BAD ASS. I have been in machine shops and hands on diesel mechanic shops like yours for 20+yrs & Numbers don't lie and numbers tells the truth, like bearing specs, hone specs, torque specs, etc. This machinist knows his shit, he got your back (your mechanics back)! All your repairs are FLAWLESS! 1+1+1+1= Excellent Crew/Shop!❤
Dave seems like a one in a million mentor and boss
To learn you must accept failure! Once you understand that’s no one is perfect, you must then strive to be better! My Dad’s quote!
My Truck gained 10HP just from watching that video in it. Looked awesome.
Such a pleasure and a joy to watch. True craftsmanship. Real expertise, passion and integrity.
i liked the part here you told him about the exhaust manifold cleaning. you didnt make him feel like and idiot and informed him! good stuff! always love the videos. feel like i pick up a trick or two each vid and ive been doing this for 12+years
I was a mechanic for 20 years. The young men you have working for you had me smiling the entire time. I can see the quality of work they’re performing and the excellent machinery that you’ve provided them with. I also doesn’t hurt that you are a great mentor. You’re the Yoda of diesel. This is how you become a world class shop.
Great to see the 5.9 build. Old faithful #6. Happens everytime. Good to see the young guys
The amount of knowledge in your shop. Just wow. I wish I could come by and try to absorb a fraction of that.
Goodness gracious y'all make that look easy. Tip of the hat to the young man's first, super cool.
Man-Oh-Man!!! Maybe someday I’ll have a truck that I can have you rebuild. Absolute perfection! Great, great job y’all….
That was awesome. It put a smile on my face to see how happy that guy was .
Great job Dave, keep up the great engine builds
