I found this channel looking for tips, but that was a pretty relaxing video to watch. I didn't even realize it was over 40 mins until after I was done. I know your channel is still new but you should really consider posting more videos like this with an emphasis on showing off your city and the dashing life. I can see this channel really blowing up. Good luck with your success man.
@BestDasherAlive I just got started with DD but I noticed you don't take photos it seems you just grab n go are things different in CA? You dont seem to lock up your E bike either is it that safe or is there a kill switch? For the first 3 weeks I haven't been able to work my own territory like you. Instead I have to travel 30 minutes just to get started. Could DD be correct that there are too many dashers working my town and the surrounding 5 towns here on Long Island? OR do you think it's an app setting issue? Great video, dog, and bike! Keep it up!
What about my last question about not being able to choose my starting point or any area within 40 minute drive from home? Glitch in app or can they block me based on the number of dashers in the area presently. Thanks for your advice by the way 😉
I wouldnt have posted your area on youtube because know one gets the orders you get. I would make a fortune where you are at and i would easily make top dasher. Count your blessings!
I can't find the comment I posted on another video, but I just got into the game and I wanna know what's your strategy with battery management, do you have a backup battery or just go until it dies?
@@BestDasherAlive Just started last month as a side hustle, but I watched your tips video a couple times before my first shift and I'd recommend it to anyone. Gave me a ton of confidence and taught me to take in all the info so I could build some strategy around my area. Thanks a ton!
42:14 yooo I remembered that wingstop! I used to work at the Albertsons right in that same plaza last year 😂 All the high school kids across the street from us always bombard the area every 3PM.
Catalina just opened a DD market. No cars allowed on the island, so bike or walking only. But the only store there is Vons. There's 3 stores, vons grocery, deli and liquor. You should check it out, might be a hidden gem. I think it's like an hour long ferry from San Clemente.

I can cover close to 40miles on one charge or close to 2hrs non stop riding. Weight, terrain, speed, how aggressive you ride etc all factors that can make those #s vary a bit
Since you have an iPhone, get the Quad Lock. I recently got the Spigen Gearlock which is similar (but universal for all phones) and it's totally legit.
What kind of E Bike , make and model, I dash around Rutgers campus and trying to find parking is a real pain...I have to double park or park in handy cap lanes just to get food pick up... I would like to park my mini van close enough to the campus and drive an e bike to the store
when you pull up to the store, do you lock up your bike or you just leave it out in the open? Would you be scared if anyone steals your bike. I want to use my ebike too but am too scared to get it stolen that's why.
Awesome video. Couple questions. Aren't you ever worried your bike might get stolen? And what happens if you run out of battery power do you have pedals, does that happen often?
This was so fun to watch! Love your channel. Two questions: how much was your bike? Would you consider driving for Lyft or do you think dashing beats it? Seems like the biggest advantage with this gig is the ability to turn down work. Stay safe!
you get to move around/walk a lot more doing dd. i've talked to uber drivers that say their bodies ache bc all they do is sit and never get up. you also have to do a lot more "customer service" as an uber/lyft driver. you cant ebike as an uber/lyft driver and ebike you dont have gas/insurance/registration and maintenance is a lot less. so dd is better imo but also circumstances/locations matter greatly
Didn't realize how good San Clemente can be when you get familiar with the area. Everywhere in South OC is good but SC may be the best. I was making more than ever when I got top dasher last month and was able to switch between the south OC, laguna/Dana and SC markets whenever a delivery took me out of market, but since I lost TD it's been tough. Laguna/Dana kinda sucks as your only market and south OC is hard to schedule long shifts for. I've never done a full dedicated shift in SC but as I've gotten taken down there more and more and got to know the area I've realized it's pretty damn good. Came down here today after Laguna was dry as hell and gonna stay for dinner. Gonna schedule down here for the next week and see how it goes.
all the areas around here are good honestly. im not sure its necessarily worth hopping. ive done a good amount in laguna/dana and a little in some other areas. sc is just easier bc i can dash from home
Ive done a few small ones for comfortability. Haven’t done any performance upgrades yet but I might. Either way, I will be making more videos about the bike 👍
what e bike do you have and how much do you think it matters? i live about a 40-50min drive to orlando and i'm thinking of driving to peak pay zones with an ebike in my car then biking from there. was checking out the ariel rider xclass as i heard it's the fastest.
thanks for sharing a day in the life man, looks pretty active and rewarding

I'm thinking about doing this as a weekend job. And I love riding my bike and have been thinking of an excuse to get an e-bike!

It’s not an app setting issue. DoorDash be doin it
@BestDasherAlive I've been doggin then for three weeks including involving supervisors and escalating but no change. Thanks for letting me know!
I love the sound of the E-bikes

They looked like standard issue orders IMO if anything most are small that he just nixes. He just hustles and works smart. 😉

$154.78 for only 3.5 active hours is excellent in my opinion.
not bad

fold it up and put it in my pocket

Don’t let the battery run out and I roll around with a team of body guards to protect my ebike
