For me, the most convenient way to take down Malicious Face is to parry one of his projectiles then immediately use any Nailgun to finish him off. It barely requires any setup at all and it's not hard to do. The only situation where I don't see it being useful is if you're trying to do a no damage run.
@@NoLogicZero sometimes the rng for the beam is garbage and you can't get it in 3 or 4 attacks, the parry is 100% gonna happens as soon as he detects you, at least is what i experienced when i learned the ultraricoshoot

Shotgun (3rd level pump) into a second shotgun always works well. Damn near instant, heals to the maximum, works in crowds so long as you jump. Cons, point blank, takes some time to pump shotguns
you can instakill a maurice with a sharpshooter shot by just shooting the first red projectile in its barrage attack. it creates a red explosion that sends its other projectiles back to it.
Overpump also has the benefit that with two Maurices on either side of you you can instakill both of them with precise enough timing. There are a lot of times that happens in the champaign so it can be very useful.
other methods: Launch a core into the air in front of it and snipe the core with the revolver Projectile boost it before it fires projectiles shoot it with the malicious railcannon before it fires Parry the first projectile and slab revolver alt fire at the same time
so: 1. core snipe with revolver 2. proj boost (but it would deflect anyways cuz it's a demon) 3. redcannon 4. parry + slab charged shot why not just fucking magnet + nails at that point? or pump shotgun twice, then shotgun swap? requires no thinking at all, cheaper, and less steps

Chargeback? I get it semi-consistently by looking ~45 degrees down so the face is at the very top of my screen, and throwing the coin right after the beep (standing still), then stepping backwards

for the quickest multitask kill i fire a screwdriver railcannon and go up to them and parry the screwdriver along with parrying their beam with the shotgun. extremely easy if you're fighting other enemies and have to take care of the malicious face while you're at it
Also there is another way to one shot it, you basically need the red cannon of the railcannon and the shotgun. First, you have make a groundslam jump then throw a grenade with the shotgun in right of its face then shoot with the malicious rail cannon on the grenade at the right time
If you do two pumps in the pump shot gun and then immediately switch to the core eject then it takes them out. Has to be super close range tho I suggest using the whiplash
Charge back just got a huge buff with the new patch Well you are technically gonna be more outside of the arena in arena mode which lead to rocket surf but in the current patch Maurice can snipe rocket from far away when you're riding it If u are a charge back enjoyer since then u know what to do

Nowadays you can actually oneshot maurice with the new sharpdhooter revolver if you shoot him when hes shooting his projectiles and that even works with the normal one(not slab i mean)
it's just about shooting the projectiles, because sharpshooter richoshot can pierce, so shoot this mouth when he's shooting the bullet most of the time guaranteed a oneshot
Wait wait wait, does overpump really works? Every time I tried to use overpump on him i just heard metallic ricochet sounds and basically no damage at all, that's why I used 3 pump charges 2 times to kill Maurice fastly and efficiently

or you can wiplash use shotgun (doesnt need to bee pumepd) red hand punch 1 more shotgun and it is dead it sounds like long but it isnt if you use shotgun switch

With Whipslam you can use a shot of slab revolver instead of slam so you dont destroy the Malface body and its almost the same speed
why is destroying the body a con?

If u parry just right it will instakill. What I charge a laser with pistol and parry and shoot at the same time. Usually Instakill.
for a no damage run i guess the safest is parry into a red state, then ultraricoshot his laser with a coin

also does wonders for soldiers, basically a free red explosion for a slarp charge

Overpumping and then shotgun swapping is the best instakill method in my opinion, quick, easy, efficient, and doesn't require giving up any material.

I usually whiplash then shotgun swap once while using the red arm; you have to get up close but it's reliable and kills
Whiplash + shotgun + nucklebuster + switch shotgun + shotgun + whatever to finish off

You can do the coin chargeback a lot easier if you look a bit above your toes, at about a 60 degree angle
I just whiplash them to shotgun swap once while punching.
It's not much but it's honest work. And you gotta do it like 60 times to get anywhere in CG.
You can also pomp a shotgun 2 times whiplash to Maurice and shotgun swap it, this should do the job in 2 shots without using red arm.
I usually just whiplash and kb punch+ shotgun -> shotgun

Triple shotgun swap, or a Slab Piercer alt-fire followed by two shotgun swaps.

the most efficient and cheap method IMO is a slab revolver charge shot and parry the projectile, instakills it if you do it right
