Good Morning, can you explain fire rated ducts

Fire rated ducts are same ducts used in air conditioning but only extra fire protection material is applied like coating which resist 1 to 4 hour or fire resistance enclosure, it withstand high Temperature or used fire resisting duct wrapped like mineral wool etc. to prevent spread of fire. And also fire dampers are used inside ducts.
I think for
22G size range is 751-1200 mm
20G size range is 1201- 3000 mm
18G sizes range is 3001 and above
Your values are converted in millimeters from inches which are nearest to .....but I have explained as per SMACNA standard which are acceptable internally.
Would sheet be galvanized or any other coated for corrosion protection?
Mostly duct sheets are hot dip galvanized which are corrosion protection.
