M a pointsman....And I am glad to tell you that this process has been automated(98% cases) by panel from station building through motor operated point....So this risk factor is almost absent....We don't have to go to the point unless it fails due to technical issue....THANK YOU INDIAN RAILWAYS

Hardworking people keep the trains moving. Our switch men have rattlesnakes, copperheads, and alligators to deal with in some place but never heard of a Cobra on the line.
