I hope you are all having a fabulous festive season! Today I will be showing you how to make ginger beer. In South Africa it is called Gemmer(in Afrikaans). Let me know in the comments section what it's called in your language. I hope you enjoy the video!

INGREDIENTS:
2L water
2 cups white sugar
2 tablespoons ginger spice
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
A handful of raisins
Peels of 1 pineapple
1 teaspoon dry yeast

To be honest fermenting overnite will yeald almost no alcohol, it is better left for a week before straining to get a decent alcohol content.
