It wouldn’t surprise me to learn that many classic car owners have made the final decision of having Iain restore their car based on Craig’s work. Clearly the mechanical side is there but Craig’s work on bringing back aged interiors and replicating those too far gone, I’m sure has swayed many an owner.

I love the absolute focus on the quality of the work done, the celebration of the individuals involved in both the design and development of the cars and their restoration, and the reverence involved- not loud introduction music or jarring edits to try and create excitement, just people sharing their passion and beautiful shots of beautiful cars. And Ian is absolutely correct to praise him the way he does because it takes more than money to keep highly talented workers working for you. It was Fiat NA's (at the time in Dearborn, MI where they were working out of an industrial park) that was used to homologate the type for North America. What made the car so special was that it was the "Killer B" spec full on rally car with 625hp. WHAT a car! We hit "subluminal" speed on the freeways around Detroit, MI. One line Adam Savage of MythBusters fame keeps saying and i've since adopted, paraphrased: "we're not owners, we're caretakers and custodians". I've been proactive for a few years in keeping my stuff alive, for the next person, even projects i had sidelined. CV times have helped, freeing otherwise occupied time.

Fascinating as always. I had no idea about the Bentley braking system and now you've got me hooked - looking forward to seeing more videos on that car.
