Love seeing B.A Wheeler again, but my only gripe with this song is that it felt too flat on the audio.
7:00 i feel the same way, i dont dislike it, but it could of been way better.
There is 2 songs from the NIKKE REDASH album "On the Cliff" & "Final Battle" that are so good, but have no bass or any oomph to it.
A.C.P.U Freeze 🙏
I'm here requesting a pack of songs with "The Wings of Victory" & "Hero" (in that order actually) both songs are related to the same character but are very different aspects of her.
I second this. Hero is my favourite song. Part of that is because Laplace is my favourite Nikke but the song encapsulates her and chapter 18 perfectly.
I also suggest Para-Dice to go with these two
Khamsin if you ever get the chance. Lots of stuff going on in there.
I didn’t watch yet, but I’m about too. I wanted to say my opinion b4 I hear your analysis.
It was a little awkward but reminded me of training montage sequences from older movies. Overall its ok
This song gives me a late 90s early 2000s anime feel. Definitely could be an anime opening. I liked it.
Claymore is a strange way to pronounce Freeze ACPU
Also, I agree with your analysis- to me, Claymore was a boring song. It was missing most of what I'd expect out of a Nikke track or something worthy of having Cosmograph's name on it.
But I suppose that it's appropriate that Claymore was boring as a song, because the event was also dull as dishwater.
You should really listen to Our Hometown its such a underrated song among the other red ash songs
You can check out Some of the Nikke X Chainsaw man Collaboration
Edge of bullet and Weapon X Weapon
both really underrated IMO :)
Great analysis, as always. Can't say same about the song. It's nice, don't get me wrong. But it does feel like it's missing.... something, as you said. Still, it's catchy, like many pop songs. And someone worked hard to make those vocals work. In any case, my recommendation - "Color your night" from Persona 3 Reload.
I'm going to pick a fight with you in 18 hours
