Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I’m doing this exact job on my 2011 Santa Fe and just happened to come across your video. This is going to make the process so much easier.
Wonderful video by a great mechanic. Your tutorial was excellent. Your instructions were the right way to tackle this problem. Thank you so much for your lesson, a big thumbs up...
You have one of the more informative videos on 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport whole brake job. Thank You. Keep the good work. Do a headlight, front turn signal replacement of the bulb..
Brother I have nothing negative to say right here man, you did a fantastic job and you were very articulate in explaining and doing the job, thanks so much for sharing this video, I was so impressed that I even subscribed to your channel. God bless 🙌 🙏🏼.
You're welcome man I have a Toyota corolla 2008, how do I clean the throttle body and the idle air control valve, you just absolutely amazing how you demonstrate all where you're very clear how you remove and replace every single components and parts easy to see not missing moves as you explain and understand gives me confidence thanks so much.
Awesome instructional video. Question, did you clamp the brake hose to prevent it from leaking when you removed it. I have to replace my caliper this week. Thanks
@@KITS_Auto_and_Truck_Repair update. Before removing the old caliper, I loosened the banjo bolt. Removed old caliper, installed new caliper (comes with new banjo bolt and 2 copper crush washers). Installed new banjo bolt and washers, and bled the caliper. Done 👍
That's a great video! I do have a question, my parking break is not holding on well and the foot pedal is going way to far don't... What are the added steps to adjust the parking brake on a 2019 Santa Fe XL SE (no electronic brake, its the foot one on my car)? Thanks!
@@KITS_Auto_and_Truck_Repair Isn't that small rubber seal you took off of the old disk the location to adjust the parking break without removing the caliper and disk? Or can you only adjust it by getting all that out of the way?
Any tips on getting those metal brackets in that hold the pads? Mine don’t want to fit in and I know they are the correct ones. Any help is appreciated
Hello!!! Can you please tell me what the torque specs for the brake caliper mounting and caliper to mounting in lbs ? I have a 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe 😫😫
Hi! I have a 2012 gmc sierra truck I had the fuel pump control module replaced and programmed. My truck was running after 2 days it wouldn't crank we put it on the computer it said No communication what happened? We changed the fuel pump I forgot to tell you before. Where do we go from here? Need help?
2 years later you’re probably fixed but if it won’t crank start by checking battery volts, battery cables, jump the starter to see if it’s able to crank and if it does check the starter solenoid. Either way, if it’s not cranking it’s nothing to do with the fuel pump etc.; if the fuel system was bad it wouldn’t run, but the fuel system isn’t in the starter circuit. Maybe the starter motor failed. Once you get it to turn over it will probably start right up and run fine but not cranking isn’t a fuel problem.
Caliper bracket bolts: 52ft-lb Brake caliper bolts: 23ft-lb *make sure to always click the torque wrench twice and alternate between the two torqued bolts of the same spec* Leaving this here for quick reference!
Why did you apply the anti-seize to the inside of the anti-rattle bracket? Shouldn't you put it on the other side of it? Where it makes contact with the actual brake pad?
Great video, thank you. For anyone who wants to know, the torque spec for the bajo bolt on the 2007 Santa Fe is 18.8 Ft Lb.

Did you clean/polish/paint the place where they seat?
Corrosion makes a lot of friction and they can get hung up
