- Hello Guys! I wanted to share my thoughts on the Gucci Dionysus Mini and my love and hate relationship with the chain 😂. She is about 8 months old and has stayed in awesome condition. I was torn between the dionysus and the marmont and I was too worried dyionysus wont stretch out so I got the marmont one. Looks really good though. 😍

Thank you so much!! I gotta do what I can when I love the bag but it’s too long. I am glad I found a solution for it. The YSL toy Lou Lou had a leather strap that was not adjustable enough to fit my needs 😂

It really is! I find that most people around me at least are not familiar with the canvas of Gucci vs the canvas of the LV so it’s also slightly understated 😊

It’s Chex yes 😭 it was just to clunky for everyday use. And I couldn’t wear it cross body comfortably as it was too short and bulky. I really like the mini on you!
I can imagine it would get bulky as its super structured when its filled. The mini does fit my essentials and its not so bulky against my frame crossbody. If its too long for you, I’ve got the shorteners linked on the description 😉.
Great review sis, I love the colour of this bag too. I'm with you about the chain, its a bit long and kinda noisy..lol.. Its still a gorgeous bag nevertheless 😍😘

Great review. I did wonder why no one else seemed to be covering up the grommet thing to prevent wear. Does it seem to be working. What did you use?
I have the Dionysus WOC which I love as its beige leather lined and leather on side. I wish this size had the leather option too as it would suit me better and this is the ideal size for me. Would love to see updates over time with how the suede is wearing
I used the felt packing material that they had on the bag when it was shipped to me. I put a tiny double sided tape on the grommet to make it stick 😉. It does truly help with wear 😊. I know the side being suede kinda makes the bag more finnicky. I thought this size does have a leather option i think i have size in leather. I have seen it in cream, black and green 💚. Thank you for tuning in sweets and I do plan to do updates on her in the future 😊. Hope we stay connected ❤️

Re leather I meant like the Dionysus WOC in that it’s all over canvas but with beige leather interior and sides rather than full leather. Hey! Just wanted to let you know what I did with my bag because I am short too! I took it to a shoe cobbler and they removed some of the links for me! I do that with all my bags :) I kept the links that I removed just incase I ever want to sell it again...

I just used a small amount of double sided scotch tape on a piece of foam that the bag came with. It has worked well for me so far and hasn’t flattened the suede in that area 😊
So the scotch tape is touching the suede

The mini version with the chain doesn’t feel heavy to me. The chain has moderate weight I would say but if you have the bigger version of this bag it would definitely be heavy especially with items inside. I hope that helps ❤️
This bag is beautiful but sorry that its too long. Im short too 5’2 and the mini can get a tad long for my frame. But this bag though is beautiful and its classic. TFS 😊
It’s hard for petite girls when bag chains are too long because sometimes you can’t do any tricks to it without damaging the bag. I had the same problem with the toy lou lou and had to sell that... thank you for watching ❤️

I just used a very small piece double side tape to stick the a small amount of the packing material onto the button 😊

The strap will definitely be an issue if for you since it is already long for me 😂. If your dont mind the chain being bunched up a bit with the shorteners, it is a beautiful piece 😊

I got my chain on a knot has that ever happened to you ? Now I can’t fix it
It has not happened to me before, I was always able to kind of massage and push and pull thru the chain to get it released back to normal position.
Does the chain falls of your shoulder ?
Hi Sweets! It does not fall off my shoulder at all. It is a pretty thick chain and very substantial. Some people mentioned that it is heavy for them but I find it comfortable. I definitely know its there 😉. Have you seen my new video that has the Amazon strap shortening trick?
