@@plasticbudgie yeah true but imo they should only nerf their stuff when holding the enemy flag on wsg, twin peaks and deephaul ravine. That would fix the balance of bgs without breaking monks in pvp.
Really the big problem is the weird games where somehow one team has a 4+ stack of one spec for some reason. Surely they could just split them up. Problems like only one team having a MW in wsg is a problem with MW being too good, not the matchmaking
Did a bltiz yesterday and we were 4 warlocks, we won easilly. But I've also seen a flag map where enemy team had 3 evokers and they were legit unstoppable. That flag went zoomzoom. Honestly I think limiting to 2 of each spec would be kind of better, but on the other hand for specs played a lot it might make queue times just.. longer.
I really think they should just mix the teams a bit better. Just was in a blitz witu 4 warriors on one team and 3 rogues on the other. Surely they could figure a way to put two warriors on another team and two rogues without too much work. I have had many other similar to this, eg 4 dks on one team and 0 on the other. 4 dks in a blitz isn’t the end of the world if they aren’t on the same team, and that wouldn’t affect queue times for anyone
@@kel1770 no I don’t think so you are just swapping people between teams so the same class aren’t all on one side but still the same people in that battleground overall so no difference in queue time
I don't think the majority of players that day spec limits mean limiting the amount of a spec/class in a game, they mean per team. Balance the teams. Almost Noone meant to influence or cap the amount total, but if there's 5 rogues in a game it shouldn't be 1 vs 4
If they capped specs that would definitely hamp que times. And thatd make you more likely to run into vs the best healer in every game imo. (IE at least 1 mw every game) and I never want to see my a mw when I’m on my warlock. And the fun classes would be gutted up. (Everyone plays disc nowadays so their ques would be fucked, youd need more healers to fill teams, and fotm ravishes the healer economy). But I def don’t want to see 3 of any dps randomly. But I wouldn’t mind 3 if the same dps specs if a healer duo qued with one. And the other two were random. I think that’s fine. Vs 3 soloing dps getting dropped in the same lobby.
Bro when you are clueless do not comment. I am 2.8k+ cr atm and i can tell you that pushing r1 if you are solo is literally rolling the dice. You are going to get 4 rogues on tf bgs 5 bgs in a row and drop 60cr because of shitty class stacking. They really should add cap of max 2 specs in one team.
I struggled with seeing you save all your mobility for like half a minute because you wanted to roll off the tunnel roof. But you had a mage attacking you the entire time. Be smart about mobility and adapt to the situation.
There would not be more class representation, and this would not make players want to try more specs, just absolutely false with no correlation. It could make it more fair, and more ques longer. Allowing 2 dks vs 4 wouldn't make the bottom 2 specs of the game take those 2 slots, the dk players just won't be in the same game... spec caps are a bad idea, actually horrible idea. Spec matching with a +/- 1 would be okay. So if there's 3 hunters I a game, it has to he 1 and 2 per team instead of 3 and 0. Same thing for 5 dks in game, 3 and 2, not 4 and1 or 5 and 0.

I just want them to fix people flying thru the map on CTF bgs.
If they do that they nerf Arena 3s which the game is balanced around. Adapt to it.

Def needs to be a one per cap on healers and two per cap on dps.

That still affects queue times. Any restrictions will force the matchmaker to either have more imbalanced matches or longer queue times.

I think this is a fair point... there has been a lot of matches where there are multiple locks, hunters, rogues and mages

There should be a 2 cap limit on healers and 1 on tank. Rest should be dps, per side.

If they want Blitz to be more competitive, they should rework alot of systems inside it.

Anything that increases queue times is bad
Honestly just remove healers from pvp at this point low key ruins the game.
Or just one healer per blitz match, more matches would be played that way too
