I noticed how everybody doesn't give a fu.. of him not wearing any protection, yes the helmet is cool, thanks for the review btw, I'm not saying this in a negative way, the life is yours, please be safe my friend
I like the airflow in my R10, but I wish the chin cover was wider (more material under the chin). So it would keep the wind from blowing up into my eyes. Taking the rubber piece out in front of the mouth defuses the airflow to keep it out of the eyes, my little cheat code i guess lol. I first used it on VIR for 2 days and it did great on the track, I have used it several times on the street also and you are correct, that peripheral vision on it is great and the degree of vision from top to bottom. I need to adjust it further back on my head on the crown pad, to shift the helmet more toward the upper range of view. It was stable on the track on the straights at over 155mph and on the streets of Mexico at over 170mph. I can only compare it to my Shoei rf1200 and Bell Race Star, I do like the size and shape of the Shoei's shell more. good comparison and I will be looking into the X-Lite 803 Carbon now lol.
The Exterior looks flawless, when you look inside you can see the foam at the top which was weird to me. The wind noise was pretty good! Thanks for Watching and Commenting, any other questions let me know! Here to help in any way.
I own a SHOEI NXR and recently upgraded to ARAI RX-7V evo and I have also checked r10 in the shop… but I don’t know, SHOEI and arai are still hand made in Japan (even all additional parts I have ordered for them are all made in Japan). ARAI is still a family owned business and they don’t go to any compromises when it comes to safety… long story short - when it comes to safety for my head I would go with SHOEI/ARAI as as these brands are serious about safety and don’t really try to cut corners. BTW I don’t know about USA, but here in EU you can even get a personal fitting for your helmet - don’t forget even a super expensive helmet if it’s too big - won’t protect you…
Are Ferrari's worth the $375k for a baseline model? They look killer but the new Corvette is also nice. I'd choose the Ferrari all day, everday. Italian design tends to be expensive and timeless, the R10 is just on a minute financial level, same principles. Good video keep up the good work!
Your right about me not wearing Enough gear- it's just a personal choice, it will probably bite me in the butt one day. Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻.
Agv's are top Tier helmets - thanks Wes!! Don't you go blowing a bunch of money my friend!! Be thankful! Alot of people including myself would love that AGV!! YOU have a Great Friday and Weekend!! Stay safe and let's talk again soon🙏🏻.
Yeah mate I really like the helmet I have If I could I would get it lol.your a legand mate and I enjoy following and watching your video's you are a true inspiration mate.keep doing what u do my friend, I wasn't aware the agv were top tier but it is a good lid cheers mate. Enjoy your weekend
Well, not sure if you noticed, but you paid close to 870 british pounds, not dollars. That should be the equivalent of close to 1200USD... Still, it's interesting to see that the feedback on this helmet is somewhat consistent across the reviewers as it's a top tier helmet, but doesn't blow your mind
Shawn I can't believe it, But I think you Right - I was thinking the same thing as I watch it back! Have a Great Week and thank you for Everything you do for the Channel🙏🏻.
Well I kind of wasn't impressed at 1st. But the 1200 price tag is a stretch. Don't get yourself in trouble with spending to much money- if you can easily afford it yes! But there are helmets out there that are just as GOOD for less money. It's just the look that I liked and the advertising and Media buzz that got me. But I would say it is DEFINITELY a top TIER HELMET FOR SURE!! Let me know what you end up doing!!
Your voice is coming thru real good ray awesome job on the video and the helmet is amazing
Thank you Duane!!!!

I think the X-Lite has better audio quality than the Alpine Stars helmet.

I am about to buy the R10, do you think it is worth it, you who have the knowledge which would be better than this helmet at the price of 1200
