Enjoy!
İ watching with lovely, from Azerbaijan and your videos stimulated me to grow carnivorous plants. Thanks for all
Nice! Happy growing 🌱
Oh hey, I remember you had 46 subscribers last time I checked. Now you have nearly 1,000! congratulations🥳🎉
Yes! Thank you! Getting a lot closer :D
@@venusflytrapworld Hmm, i’m thinking about getting a companion plant for my VFTs, there are a lot of little critters that are too small for them to eat that hang out around them. I was thinking of either butterworts or sundews. My climate zone is SE Texas, so it gets very hot and can freeze very suddenly and harshly. I was thinking drosera capillaris(not sure how well it can tolerate cold). drosera intermedia(not as pretty as capillaris). Rotundifolia(maybe too hot for this one). Any recommendations?
Sounds like a fun project! I think Drosera Intermedia and Filiformis can handle both frost and hot weather. Also, Sundew Trayci. I like the looks of Drosera rotundifolia, but I dont think it does too good in the summer.
Maybe exploring some hybrid Sundews might be an option
@@venusflytrapworld Yea I was thinking about making a whole bog garden with VFTSs, different types of drosera, butterworts, different types of sarracenia, and other pitcher plants but it’s out of my budget haha. So as of now i’m just gonna get a companion plant and find a large planter pot for them to flourish.
Awesome photos! Would love to see it in slow motion!
Thank you for watching!
Cool!
Thanks again for your knowledge! Since I found your videos, my traps are really flourishing! I originally had them in sphangnum moss, but it just wasn't good for my indoor plants (the seller said no soil, but I had to find an option!). Switching to the carnivorous soil mix saved them! I have lots of sprouts like this, too!
It is awesome to hear your plants are flourishing. Thanks for sharing!
I have even smaller seedlings at the moment (less than 6m. old) Do you buy dest.water regularly? I bought a water distiller 2 years ago so now n.p. anymore;)
Is it recommended to feed seedlings at that size?
There is no need to do so, if enough lighting is in place. But, those tiny traps work and are waiting to capture bugs 🪲
I always thought that if plants are fed they grow big, but it seems it is sunlight that makes them bigger.
Yes, feeding helps promote growth. However, good lighting is a lot more critical. And implementing both is always a win 🌱
I am going to try the leaf pulling method.
