People first complained that these guys are Mgla ripoffs (which in all honesty I understand, I mean look at their name) but now they’re also saying that they’re ripping off Uada who got dragged through the mud for sounding like a Mgla rip off, but personally, I couldn’t care less. Mgla’s discography and Uada’s first album are great, who wouldn’t want more of that? These guys do a fantastic job of recreating the sound! Total support!
Yeah no doubt. Maybe it is becoming its own variety of black metal and people don't know this is happening. For a while, every death metal band was "ripping off of Suffocation", but now it's the standard.
Exactly. I don't care who rip off who, this is the black metal I enjoy listening so is great for me to have more bands playing it
I like all three too, can't get enough. I can hear the differences though. This new Groza (and the old) is very catchy and melancholic and ripping too.
Mgła is reference point to all black metal bands now, they changed the genre. There's pre-Mgła black metal and post-Mgła:)
All Uada albums are top tier.

I dig it. Kinda funny- Mgla, Uada and Groza, all sound and look similar, and their band names are similar and end in A.
maybe .. but dont you feel they are copycat? i know there are genre in music but come one! immortal , burzum, satyricon , 1349, darkthrone emperer. troll they have own style ! uada and groza are just copy of mgla ..
@@walsjellsince when wear masks make you a copycat of an other band. Both enjoy the mask vibe and so do I. It's like saying you're a copy cat of someone else just because you wear the same band t-shirt. It's just stupid.

The entire album is ridiculously good. Hats off to GROZA for delivering the next wave of ass-kicking black metal! The progression to drive new sounds yet still remain true to the roots of black metal is quite an achievement. Love it!

Video gives me the feels that its about mental health struggles. You keep running from it, be it in the dark or in the light of day, the shit still tries to get you, moments of rest are short and ultimately worth nothing. You are very much alone in it, and in the end you might still get fucked. The struggle only ends when the darkness catches up to you and you take the decision to finally end it all.
Not sure if the lyrics support that interpretation though.

This. First, Mgla is more boring, at least to me. Second, this is WAY too melodic to resemble Mgla and is super close musically to Harakiri

Great video, haunting atmosphere, good narrative and wonderful fine sounds. You can step forward, to the first front row of Atmospheric BM bands like Uada, MGLA or Ellende.
