We had a real one 40 years ago. It was a 5 hp B&D engine that pivoted on the tansom of a 15 ft Jon boat so we could fish in marshes. It went way fast because it had a real propeller.
i have one of their earlier kits that was briefly sold in the us in the 80's, it has 'kkk dragon tail' painted on the shaft in bright orange letters and people used to give me all sorts of crap about it and i had to explain all the time that it's the name of the company that made it...
You know I don't mean to like disparage your product but I could probably do the same thing with an old weed eater and a bunch of scrap metal, and I wouldn't even need to involve the Klan.
These 1.2hp kits are not listed on the website so I guess they are no longer available. Smallest they have is 5hp which would be more than what I need for a sailing canoe

Robert Southall - yeah, funny how gloves are only worn when the 2 stroke oil is being poured and not the petrol, plus the gloves are hardly chemical proof. Would have been impressive if the back of the kayak went up in flames from all the spilt petrol once the engine was started. 😏
