    Great video as always. Maybe you try to race with softer tyres next time. You then might need a pitstop, but you would be faster on track.

    Nice race Timo, the ai is so consistent. I think that’s why for really long events I make it a tad easier for myself since I’m only human and might have an “off” or three.😅

    I thought you European's all shifted on the left? Just curious, love your video's! Very nice rig!

      I'm right handed and in my real car also sit on the left and drive on the right lane 😉

      Only the Brits shift on the left in Europe.

      Europeans have the shifter on the right. Only in GB it is on the left.

    Why don't you ever use 1st gear? In those time it was made to use it. Maybe you could go out of slow corner quicker in first

      There aren’t really any corners that need 1st gear at imola its all pretty fast so you just gear 1st for getting off the line fast

    • @From33to77

      @@hollohullu9448 no really, the 1st gear in those f1 in the 90s until the 2000s was useful. If you didn't use it at least once (even at hockenheim and monza) surely your gearbox setting was wrong. Look at the first part of Aqua Minerale, the Variente Alta and the first Rivazza how the car goes slowly into revs out of the corner. It is at 7-8k rpm on the corner is is low. That's nearly idle rotation for the engine in those days. Timo is losing valuable time in this corner each time
      The 1st gear was set to be used in the slowest corner in each track

      @@From33to77 Still, 1st always needs to be short enough to get off the line fast, and if thats too short for any corners its better to use 2nd than wheel spin in such a short gear

    • @From33to77
      @From33to77 6 месяцев назад

      @@hollohullu9448 yes but in those days 1st was much less short than nowadays and clearly you could use it as they had only 6 gears in 1990

    if that is a 1990 Ferrari, how come you are using H pattern and not semi-auto paddles?

    • @TimoDick
      @TimoDick  5 месяцев назад

      The model is generic and covers different teams/liveries, all using a V12 in 1990. The H pattern is Reiza's concession to the majority of gear boxes used that year.
      Being manual is less of an issue for me than the body which does hardly resemble the real 641.
